This week, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix releases in western territories, and to celebrate, Square Enix has put together this special launch trailer featuring none other than the fans in attendance at the Casting Call events in Burbank, California and Paris, France! Check out what your fellow fans have to say about their experiences with the series, and the development team in Osaka's reaction at seeing such a passionate community.

Anyways, yeah, did not expect this video to be this powerful. I just like the fact that the team got to see these fan reactions, that's where things got kind of powerful. They work so hard on these games (in fact, Japanese culture in general is known for their hard working environment) so that was definitely incredibly nice to see. These people deserve to know that their hard work is greatly appreciated and you can tell they're happy and thankful to be that appreciated.
So heartwarming ~u~ I'm glad fans like these still exist, I'm also glad those feelings were delivered to the KH staff.
Watching this in the theater was really emotional. Nothing can ever compare.
The energy and love from the fans was really palpable while watching. I wish they would have shared the outtakes which are also just as good as this video!
Despite how much we all complain and make fun of the series, we all still do really love this series and I think that is something I hope even Nomura himself feels from the fans.

Just picked mine up. Probably won't play until I'm through with Bravely Default however. Which could take a while -_-
A lot of my friends don't really like Kingdom Hearts or JRPGs, so this made me feel very happy seeing so many people feel the same way I do about the series :-) I couldn't agree more, I'd buy these games when I'm 80 too! Thank you!
I was hoping that the bits were they talk about the music would also be in this trailer, but even without them, this clip is full of passion. Only two more days and I will get my 2.5 copy. I`m so excited that I have had trouble with sleeping. Luckily I don`t have any lectures early in the morning, so I can sleep long :D

Surprise! Yeah, he does. After the video finished he was pulling them off as Drew asked everybody if we were a little misty-eyed and asked Nomura if he was okay xD
I think he also wore them at the TWEWY event a few months ago and people on twitter who attended were all buzzed about it.
This was so very sweet. It was really well done, and for that I'm grateful.

Don't be TOO jealous! It was a really hot day and we all stood around for hours waiting for something to happen. ;~;
It was fun, though. I really do hope they have more opportunities for more fans in the future because it really was a unique experience.

Dam it. I knew Nomura`s games were full of surprises, plot-twists and turns, but even the man himself packs a few surprises. :D
Man, getting to do the shoot was totally amazing, but getting to see it all together and see the dev team's reactions... beyond being supremely cool, just leaves this really warm, wonderful feeling. :) Here's to another decade (or seven) with this amazing series.
Ok, I will say it straight out, nothing has made me cry for years. It doesn't matter how powerful, how heart-wrenching, or how emotional it is, it won't happen. I'll get emotional as crap, don't get me wrong, but I won't cry. I am currently drying my eyes right now because of this. It's just so beautiful

Feels good to be part of such a passionate community for a game such as KH at times like this. That video gave me goosebumps and got me all glassy eyed lol.

Can anyone help me please? Apparently you can only play KH 2.5 remix in wide screen. I'm not a fan of this in wide-screen and KH 1.5 remix you could play it in fullscreen as well which I preferred. Is there anyway I can adjust the game to get it to play full screen?
Awe. This is making me cry. It's so beautiful to see how much everyone loves this game. It is the most heartwarming feeling in the world. Seeing the teams reactions was also very moving too. I wish I could have been there. It must have been an amazing experience. This is possibly the most touching video I have ever seen, so emotional. The Kingdom Hearts community is wonderful and so dedicated to the series. I love it.
The Osaka reaction-part was...well, let's just say I got goosebumps.

Definitely jealous of those that got to attend these events. A lot of positive reinforcement from the fans is always a good thing despite the flaws in the series, and I'm glad the development team got to embrace that. ilu2, KH~

It's so great seeing the passion that everyone has for the series, and getting to see the Osaka team's reactions just made it so much better. I could actually feel how much people really loved the series!

I will play this series until one of us disappears within the Chain of Memories of all our hearts.
And this is one of the many reasons why Kingdom Hearts will always be my favorite gaming series. The love and passion of the KH community, both fan and developers alike, is unlike any other gaming series. You've got your money grabbing souless series' like CoD, and then you've got beautiful pieces of gaming art like The Last Of Us, but on either end of the gaming spectrum, no community is as awesome as the KH community.

I can assure you, you were not the only that shed a tear mate, it made me shed a tear as well, it was soo beautiful, so filled with happy emotions that it even influenced me. :3

People can bond over most anything. Their confusion, anger, happiness, loneliness, skepticism, or even love can bring them together. And KH is about heart. Even if the series is weird and convoluted; we still love it. And it lassoes the darndest people! Something possibly ill-conceived but truly a storybook or work of art...No question as to why we can all agree that it's things like this that could bring people together.

I usually don't cry over too many things anymore unless they are really distressing, outright sad or truly heartwarming.
Seeing this video made me cry in a way that I haven't done so since I heard "Goodbye, Geno" on Yoko Shimomura's Memoria album. Just watching this video reminded me of why I am still a Kingdom Hearts fan to this day. Yes the series is convoluted as all hell and we all criticize it for all of its faults, but the reason we do this is because we love and care about this series so much.
To all you fans who were a part of this video, both in and out of the forums, I'm glad you guys had an awesome time.
