Grab your headphones and controllers, the demo for Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory is almost here.
Square Enix have announced that fans can get a taste of Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory starting October 15th 2020. The demo contains four Field Battle Music Stages and two Co-Op Music Stages. Progress does not carry over to the full game.

The demo features English audio only while supporting subtitles in Arabic, German, English, Italian, French, and Spanish. On PlayStation 4, the file size for the demo is 579.94 MB.
Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory continues the story on from the end of Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind and features over 140 musical tracks and 20 characters from the series. Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory releases on November 13 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Yeah, it became available when it hit midnight on the 15th there. In just over an hour it'll be available here in Australia and then 2 hours after that it'll be out in Japan and so on.
I have a japanese psn account. will it have english option ?

Only, if you round up. The true middle of october would be the 15th at noon, so the 15th feels more acurate.
But all that really matters (imo) is, we're getting the game tomorrow.
Edit: Realized my brainfart, 15.5 might be the mid point numerically, but that's not really how days work. Still 15th or 16th it's still pretty much mid of October and we're getting the demo within days so I'm happy.

They were smart and built the demo from the ground up rather than just ripping it right from the game, which probably reduced its size by a lot since it doesn't have any of the extraneous data that would come from a direct rip.

I just watched Bio-Roxas' video on the demo and am scared, think this'll be the Kingdom Hearts game I'll be struggling with the most in the series.
I love it already
The controls are a little weird, it'll take some getting used to.
Also, as someone who plays the Japanese version of KH frequently, there's an extra hurdle in that O is jump and X is attack (this seems uniform across regions as I'm playing the JP demo)
Performer style is a tough one. It took me a while to even realize the note symbol was the timing indicator. At least there's no penalty for missing Performer Targets.
I'm satisfied and even a little surprised at the level of difficulty on display just in this demo.
Definitely a game I'm going to spend a LOT of time in.

Oh my god I suck so bad at this lmao, failed Wave of Darkness 1 on beginner ? It's going to take some getting used to the controls for me, I'm used to the stylus with Theatrhythm.
Also took me a moment to realise Donald and Goofy still have to attack while Sora is gliding

I play a lot of rhythm games and even this is kicking my ass LMAO. Although I'm getting As on Standard, it's not a walk in the park. I love it. I can't wait for the full game to come out.
The highest score I could get on beginner for the Alice in Wonderland song was an E... I knew I was bad at rhythm games, didn't realize just how bad I was.
Guess I can use the Demo to practice so I don't suck as much when the real game comes out. Hopefully I can improve.

Have you tried the one button mode? Maybe it can help you get into the rythm of things and then change to the multiple button style

Yeah, i think that might be what I'll do. While i would rather beat the game with the standard gameplay, that mode is there for a reason.

There's no problem in starting there and making your way up to harder difficulties, I did it to train for the proud mode of wave of darkness, it still can get hard at times, but you can focus on getting the rhythm into your brain.
I can get As but trying to get any higher is a futile effort. I’m also somehow worse at using one button mode than the regular button mode.

I had issues with one button mode when you need to jump to hit the enemy. it's kinda weird because you don't need to go from O to X, so the timing feels off.
Anyone knows what a "Clear" with a crown next to it means?
