Give me those yummy RAX renders! I have to say it's somewhat surreal to see Roxas with the Kingdom Key again, he's been wielding his two for so long, I had almost forgotten he can wield it too. I can't wait to play them. Also excited to see what the new ATV renders will look like. And Riku and hopefully Kairi and Namine get new renders too.

I do prefer Roxas in the old style render. I've gotten use to his new render, sure, but I still really love the old one where he resembles Sora more. It's glaring that in KH3 Roxas no longer resembles Sora like he use to. I also prefer Xion's hair being pure black in her old render. Unless they are going to give a lore reason why it's turning a shade of brown?

i feel dumb but I just realized kh1 Riku outfit is there meaning there is a possibility of kh2 Sora and Wayfinder keyblade Armor? And maybe Roxas in twilight town outfit.

Idk but looking at the screenshot for a Darkened World maybe they aren't all boss fights like Xemnas or Maleficent.

So I noticed in the gameplay that Sora's team have this group jump animation when they all attack together for a excellent score. I want to see what RAX and ATV's animations are when they do a excellent score too. Imagine the likes of Aqua, Axel or Terra doing this happy childlike jump when scoring big points. I can't wait to play this game to see all the animations of the heroes.

I can kinda see Axel doing it, seeing he does have a childish streak, but the other two not as much.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the different teams will feel and differ.

Are people really attached to Roxas' look like this? It seems nonsensical.

Whether or not Roxas wore those clothes even for three minutes, the dude needs new drip or a revamp. This isn't like Sora, Kairi, or the rest of the cast. Roxas' skater style outfit is an exact product of its time. Meaning, it's freaking outdated. You can tell by the end when he's together with everyone that he's off by at least a decade. It's like seeing someone being stubborn and wearing old clothes from high school while everyone around gets into current fashion as adults.

Both him and Naminè are due for adjustments.

I personally hate his KH2 outfit. It’s outdated and he deserves better like his Super Groupies outfit or some better pants and a long sleeve jacket. Put some clothes not designed in 2003 on this boy. That’s literally how old that outfit is. 2003.

Namine deserves a whole ass outfit too.

I want him to keep the KH2 outfit, but they should update the design.

And I just noticed that out of every character brought up in these kinds of discussions, Sora's the only one who people don't want redesigned. It's usually just "let him keep the KH2 outfit"

I use to think DiZ put him in that KH2 outfit when giving him a new identity. But it looks like Xemnas found him in it. I was never crazy about his KH2 outfit, I actually think Ventus's version of it looks way cooler. It's funny of all the KH2 outfits that came and went, Roxas's remains the same. Among his friends he sticks out, he needs a change. I was quite surprised they had him in his KH2 attire on the clock tower.

I will take Roxas in anything instead of the Organization coat. Sometimes I feel like that was an easy cop-out for Nomura, so that he wouldn't have to actually design new outfits for characters (since he basically introduced 14 new characters in those coats).

Those renders of the old artstyle just makes it that more apparent how good it still looks, so much more visually appealing especially in comparison to KH3 which just looks so bland.

Naminè looks absolutely stunning and beautiful in her KHIII form. The best shift of quality out of all the characters. Plus, I think they got the coloring right, eyes and all.




Roxas isn't too bad. I just felt they made his face smaller/thinner and it was off because of that.

I agree her model in KH3 is amazing. Especially the hair that are perfectly animated.

I actually have a question: do you guys think there will be cutscenes with the old engine? I think I would like that, for a pure nostalgia moment.

^new cutscenes? probably not, if im being honest i think the old engine stuff will be reused assets from existing games if anything at all, becoz it's a sort of "interquel-sequel" hybrid...

It was 100% pre-rendered. There were a lot more pre-rendered scenes in the game than I initially thought there were (e.g. every scene with Maleficent except for the first scene of her with Hades).
