Immediately after the announcement of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX at D23 Expo Japan 2013, the official website for the newest high definition remaster was launched by Square Enix Japan. While the website only features the announcement trailer, it will eventually be updated with details on characters, the changes and additions made for the remaster, and comparison shots between the original games and the upscaled versions.

Along with the official website launch, the first set of official screenshots and logos have been released. Check them out below:

Picking up after KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX, players will be able to continue on their adventures with Sora, Donald Duck and Goofy, and also explore the origins of the KINGDOM HEARTS series with characters Terra, Aqua and Ventus all with gorgeous high-definition visuals and enhanced gameplay mechanics. There's something to be said for KH despite having wierd-ass titled games but retaining fine-ass logo design~

Ugh, just so so happy for all of this.

I don't know if I like the logo so much on a solid black or a solid white background, but I love it like this

It'll be released sometime this month, whenever the Conversation with the Creators thing happens.

I might be wrong, but before the reveal of KH3, didn't Nomura say that he wanted to bring every title into one console? I dread if DDD is going to be released for a non-PS3 console, because too many important things happened in that title.

Of course, it might get the recap treatment as an entry in the chronicles in KH3, but I certainly hope that it will get a standalone release for PS3.
