It's not often that we get a piece of news such as this -- since it's such a rare occurrence -- but thanks to forum member Andrefpvs and his Twitter, we now have official confirmation from Square Enix themselves about Kingdom Hearts Re:coded's European release date, 14th January 2011!

What actually happened was that Square Enix (presumably because Re:coded has now been released in Japan) accidentally posted a Tweet on their Twitter detailing Europe's release date of the Nintendo DS game before they quickly took it down. Fortunately we have some loyal Kingdom Hearts fans in our midsts who saw the Tweet and couldn't wait to spread the news! While there is still no existing confirmation of the American release date of Re:coded, we can assume that it will be a few days prior to the European one, as is protocol by now.

Edit: Thanks to forum member khfreakau we now have official confirmation of Europe's release date via Kingdom Hearts Re:coded's European Facebook page. We're very excited!
