Square Enix has recently announced a new bit of merchandise: tiny, metal-cast replicas of some of the most popular Final Fantasy weapons! Sora's Keyblade is also included in this pack, which is collectively called the "Master Arms" set. Click the thumbnail for a full-view of these fantastic miniatures. If you want to preorder (they begin shipping May 2007), head to this link.
Some interesting developments about KH's future have emerged as well. Square Enix announced recently that they licensed the Unreal Engine 3, a graphics engine that is hot on the market for next-gen consoles and has been used in games such as Gears of War. They include a screen of a stylized-realism character as an example of what this new system is capable of. They have not announced what games they intend to use this engine for, so for now we can only speculate...could they possibly be gearing up for the next KH project? We'll just have to wait and see. To read the rest of the article, click here.

Also, it's been rumored that the "pre-order bonus" for being an early bird in Japan will be a hardcover book titled Kingdom Hearts: Another Report. This will detail the characters, graphics, story details, magic, and other little bits of info the games haven't provided. Thanks to Mike at KH2.net for this info.

In addition, some of the clearest, high-quality screenshots from KH2:FM+ and Re:CoM have appeared. Some are large, some are small, but they offer a look at the caliber of graphics we can look forward to in the remix. ^_^
