Tokyo Game Show, held September 18th-21st 2014 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, is one of the largest game show events in Japan and many people are excited to see what will come from it this year! Games like Bravely Second & Final Fantasy Explorers will be playable at the event, and the highly-anticipated title Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has also been reported to be making an appearance. This has left many fans wondering what other surprises might await us from Square Enix.
With Square Enix hiring more staff to work on Kingdom Hearts III & various rumors flying around about possible Final Fantasy XV news, who knows what will happen!
Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- is among the many titles to be featured at Tokyo Game Show 2014 with a viewable trailer and demo stations for fans to try out the game before its release in a few weeks on October 2nd 2014. Also, fans who visit the Square Enix booth will receive a pamphlet featuring their show lineup and the lucky game to be featured on the cover this year is Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX-!
"Square Enix Music Composer Talk Show" will also be streamed on Sunday, September 21st featuring Kenji Ito (SaGa series, Legend of Mana series), Yoko Shimomura (Live A Live, Legend of Mana, Kingdom Hearts), & Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Chrono Cross) where they will talk about their experiences composing for games and other interesting topics! Perhaps we might even get an announcement for the release date of Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX- & Kingdom Hearts -HD 2.5 ReMIX- Original Soundtracks?
"Square Enix Music Composer Talk Show" along with other interviews, trailers, and special events for Square Enix's lineup will be streamed via NicoNico Live during the event.

Come on KH3 (And FF15) trailers!!! If they don't show anything for 15 soon I'm going to lose all hope it will ever come out.
Keeping my fingers cross for a new kh3 trailer. Or at the very least, a world reveal (Most likely it would be Frozen)
As for FF15, a release date would be nice. Though I'm not getting my hopes up.
Oh, please have some Type-0 to show! I wouldn't be surprised really if they show something from KHIII or XV. I'm thinking that they're going to show footage from at least one of those titles.

I'd love some KH3 news (being anywhere from a new trailer to just some new renders for characters other than SDG), or even FF15, but I am prepared for them to be absent.
I'm most excited for anything relating to Type-0, Bravely Default, and anything Persona/Atlus. I'm still holding out for a Kingdom Karts announcement.
And TWEWY 2 please.

I'll be looking out for a FFXV trailer/announcement but I have doubts.
Sign reminded me that I want Gravity Rush 2 and I'm also looking forward to some Bravely Second. I guess I don't really know what to look for beyond that.
I'm personally okay if we don't see KH3. I trust the Osaka team, and we know they're working hard on it, so it's not like they have anything to prove.
FFXV on the other hand is way overdue.

Not expecting anything new for KH3 but I'll be happy with a Type-0 HD trailer with a JP release date and maybe something from FFXV. I would have completely ruled out XV from appearing but that secret PS4 title being found on Sony's site yesterday has given me a slight amount of hope.

There are rumors that Final Fantasy XIII (and maybe its two continuations) will become available on Steam, if that's true Final Fantasy XV & Kingdom Hearts 3 might follow too.

I doubt they'd reveal that for KH3 without actually showing anything for it, and I doubt KH3 will be there.
For FFXV though, I'm sure they want to get this demo trailer out to the fans before they mention any form of PC/Steam copy.
And I do find it hilarious if they bring up Square Enix to show off trailers and it's Final Fantasy XIII. People would go batshit insane.

The long awaited FFXV info, and we get a demo! I'm just happy we get some form of news on it however far it may be, because if we didn't get something before this year ended I would've lost hope in the series. Now all we need is that KH3 :D
(Of course I know we have Jump Festa, but banking all hopes on the last event of the year is nerve-wrecking).

Yay we see the main menu, still liked it from 1.5 and still able to go back, not if you do the Square soft reset if you don't want to go through the hassle.
But we have something for Type-0, XV, and 2.5.
Our friends at KH Ultimania got to play the KH2.5 demo at TGS today. It featured Terra in Castle of Dreams for Birth by Sleep and Space Paranoids for Kingdom Hearts 2. You can read their full impressions at the link above.

Hmm, I know I haven't played KH2 since 2012, but seeing those two deaths just made me die a ittle and lose my heart.
If anyone's curious, no the build either doesn't have the remastered tracks, or I need better headphones.

That's why I died a little, you don't make those mistakes often in KH2, my first run through, the few years of absence, but never like that. Glad to see some of Hollow Bastion again.

While you're here Falk, just wanted to say you guys have done a wonderful job with 2.5 and the XV music. The VGO has really cemented it's place for the future of Video Game music :)

That remastered soundtrack is AMAZING!!! I love this Kingdom Hearts II iteration of Scherzo Di Notte better than the vanilla Kingdom Hearts II rendition.

So painful, I feel my inner gamer wanting to destroy everything because of this. They didn't even use the summon, just was mostly dicking around. Sure we get to hear the Hollow Bastion remastered music, but so false.

They are complaining about how these collections include everything, so if you don't like KH you have a lot of something you don't like. And this is bad people because, you know, you don't have a choice. You have to buy the game and then spend hours on end to finish it. ¬¬

It just hurts listening to this, because damn you did such a good job and now it's even harder to wait for the final release.
Also, I can hear the remastered music lacks this certain synthesized-accordion sound which was included in most KH2 tunes. At least that's how I'd describe it anyway :p

Jump Festa isn't unreasonable at all, but with 2.5 being so close it was almost a guarantee that kh3 would be a no-show at TGS.

There were some rumours concerning SCEJ I believe but nothing came to fruition so either it was a false alarm or whatever was meant to be shown has been postponed.
