Out of the blue, the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly greets us with a brand new interview with Series Director Tetsuya Nomura. He takes the opportunity to relay some more information regarding the two recently announced and most anticipated titles in the series, Kingdom Hearts 3 and HD 2.5 ReMix.

Observant Kingdom Hearts fans found that this was not the first time the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad train had made an appearance in the series. Released over 11 years ago, Kingdom Hearts featured a design of this train in Gepetto's workshop in Traverse Town.

The bulk of new additions to KINGDOM HEARTS χ[chi] have typically pertained to new cards, new outfits and new limited missions. With the Halloween event having been well underway for the past two weeks, players have been wondering what SQUARE ENIX BRIDGE and Success Inc. will come up with next. 

Thankfully, a new series of updates have begun today, entitled the "Development Team Reports." In these reports, future additions to the game will be described, giving players something to look forward to.

Teruzane Utada, music producer, manager, and father of Hikaru Utada, made a tweet earlier today in response to a fan question about Hikaru Utada returning to work on the theme song for Kingdom Hearts III. His response was a simple "Yes".

The series's second HD remaster, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix, was announced for the Playstation 3 to be released in 2014, and we received a new trailer for both 2.5 and the illustrious Kingdom Hearts III.

It's been a bumpy road for the Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5 ReMIX- guidebook but the wait is almost over. After initially being delayed by 3 weeks, the guide has been delayed by an additional few days. The guidebook is now scheduled to be released on Monday the 21st of October. To celebrate the upcoming release date, Amazon has put up some images from the guidebook providing an in-depth look at what to expect next week.

During D23 Expo Japan, the Sora figure used as a reference to model him in the first Kingdom Hearts title was exhibited for auctioning purposes. The final bid made on this rare reference figure was 703,000 yen (approx. $7,129.86 USD), which makes it quite expensive to say the least. All proceeds were given to charity.

While not much information has been released regarding Kingdom Hearts III, fans were lucky enough to get a new trailer at D23 Expo Japan 2013.
