It was certainly no surprise when Mickey Mouse's arch-nemesis, Peg Leg Pete, first appeared in the early beta trailers for Kingdom Hearts II. This feisty duo have butted heads several times over throughout the past few decades, the scrawny, mischievous little rascal versus the larger, bumbling but cunning fee-fie-foe. It was only natural that their rivalry transcend universes and into that of Kingdom Hearts, and yet, you can't help but ...

People seem to be a bit confused over the validity of Space Paranoids and the Grid's status as real worlds. They doubt the worlds being real because they take place within a computer program, but it is impossible to say they are not real based on that idea. The Kingdom Hearts series is filled with illogical circumstances that require us to suspend our disbelief frequently, and if something like how "real" a world that takes place ...
Good day to you, everyone! Today, the staff would like to bring you a new editorial to keep you entertained during this unfortunate news drought, written by myself, Sign.
But what are we covering in this editorial, you ask? Why, the answer to that would be Disney!
We all know that the representation of Disney elements is one of the stronger, and the weaker points overall of the series. On one hand, they're, for lack of better words, amazing. We were able to fulfill our childho...
Ladies and Gentlemen, young and old.
I welcome you back to the final installment in this editorial, one dealing with The Trios in Kingdom Hearts. We began with Roxas, Axel and Xion, and continued on to look at Terra, Aqua and Ven. Though there are many trios still left to be examined, no entry about the topic can be complete without taking a good look at the one leading trio in the series - Sora, Riku, and Kairi.
When dealing with this trio, we're faced with a mou...

Greetings, fellow fans!

The staff is always hard at work to give you a good read, and thus, we are proud to present you with an editorial piece, written by yours truly. Due to its length, the entry will be cut into three parts, giving you also enough time to enjoy each one.
The topic of choice is The trios in the Kingdom Hearts...
Axel has been described by fans as an irredeemable asshole, a big woobie who's head-over-heels in love with Roxas, and everything in between. I've seen people split into groups and argue whether Chain of Memories Axel or Kingdom Hearts 2 Axel is the "real" Axel. Now that 358/2 Days has finally filled in the connecting storyline, I think it's worth taking another look at whether the two "different Axels" are really all that irreconcilable.
Let's start with the basics. Axel's title, 踊...
It was about two years ago at the 2007 Tokyo Game Show that Square Enix wowed audiences with the announcement of not one, but three brand new Kingdom Hearts titles. While there was great hype for all three of the newly announced titles, Kingdom Hearts Coded had a hushed response from North American audiences due to its release on mobile phones, effectively eliminating its chances for an inte...
Has Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days continued the series tradition of consecutive hit after hit, or is does it signal a flop, a dismal turnaround for the Kingdom Hearts franchise? Released a short two months ago in Japan, days has managed to sell just over 500,000 copies, and continues to place on Japan's weekly sales charts. Debuting at almost 300,000 units, the game is expected to double its launch figures by the end of the year.
