Prologue
A mysterious man walked the dark shores of the Sunset islands. The man wore a brown robe and his face was completely concealed under his hood. The man carried a boy in his arms. The man walked towards a crooked palm tree near the shore. The man laid the boy gently on the palm tree. The boy’s eye’s were blank and lifeless. The man watched the boy for a moment. His long silver spiky hair, and tanned skin now visible. The man then turned and walked away into a portal of darkness and vanished. The boy laid still on crooked palm tree. Awaken Zen said a voice in his head. The boy’s hand then began to twitch.
Forgotten Memories
One year later,
Zen sat silently on the crooked palm tree of his home, the Sunset islands. Zen watched the ocean and the view of the other island. The sun shined brightly over the islands making the ocean sparkle brilliantly. “Hey Zen,” a voice called out to him. Zen turned to see a girl walking towards him. The girl had long black curly hair, and bright blue eyes. “Abigail hey,” Zen replied. The girl sat on the palm tree beside’s Zen. “Something on your mind Zen?” Abigail asked. Zen looked at her. “You mostly see out here alone when something’s on your mind,” Abigail exclaimed. “So what’s up?”. Zen looked away from Abigail and watched the ocean. “I was just trying to see if I could remember” he said. “About where you came from?” she asked. “Yeah,” Zen nodded. “Have you remembered anything?”. “No…Nothing”. “Well don’t worry” she said. “Somewhere in your heart are the memories you seek…and one day they will all come back to you”. “Thanks Abigail,” said Zen with a smile. “No problem now come on…lets see Rikku”.
Rikku
Zen and Abigail walked on the shores searching for Rikku. The two of them soon found a silver-spiky haired boy training on a smaller part of the island. “Hey Rikku,” Abigail said waving at the boy. The silver-spiky haired boy turned towards them. “Hey,” he said and waved back. He had seemed to be training because he was sweating and carried a wooden sword in his hand that he would sometimes use when sparring with Zen sometimes. “Let some sparring practice in huh Rikku?” said Abigail. “Yeah,” he said sounding a little out of breath. “Hey Zen how about a quick match” Rikku said coolly laying his wooden sword on his shoulder. “If your up for it?”. Zen nodded, “Your on!”.
