Avatar: Future
Earth. Wind. Fire. Water. There were a lot of thoughts on what the word Future really meant. Before Aang, those were thought to be the only elements in the world. Aang had saved the world. Nonetheless the Four Nations. Quickly he began to work with Emperor Zuko as to how he would restore peace and harmony and balance. He would balance power between the four nations so there would be no conflict. He and his companions worked dilligently at a better tommorow, a better future. Who knew thier efforts would go to waste?
After discovering the lost art of Energy Bending, Aang explored his possibilities with bending, and advanced versions of bending which lead to another discovery. Telekinesis. It was called Reanimation then. Aang deemed his discoveries too dangerous for the work in progress of the world to announce these discoveries, so he had written down the ways he found these arts in a series of scrolls deemed simply: Future. It would soon be known that before the legend died, he spread these scrolls out over the nations and protected them with the combined efforts of his arsenal of bending.
Restoring the four nations to their former glory and restoring peace to the world, Aang and his companions finally believed they could die happy, and did such, thier legacy continuing with statures and monuments dedicated to them. But little did they know, hat with thier passing came a new era. Genertations came and went and the Avatars continued to flourish and exist, now hidden from society. Technological innovations improved, and soon, the need for bending was forgotton. Forgotton, but never lost. It was still passed on, and they roam around the people, blending in, not wanting to seem wierd or different, not conforming to the image society wanted them to be. That is, until one man had resurrected everything and in turn, threw the balance into pandemonium.
Almost eras and thousands of years after Aang, one man, Gerald Garibalde, a budding earth bender and brilliant scientist had decided to use his gift to help further himself and research. Earth was becoming over populated and though the man was indeed brilliant, he was also radical. He had proposed something unheard of by the people for millenia: colonize the moon. The moon was said to have people live for at least 100 more years than normal life on Earth and people flocked to the moon. However, Gerald was only intrested in allowing Earth Benders to the moon, much against society and the rights of the people. This descision was aquitted of course, the people wanting to do as Aang would have done. Outraged at the disrespect he felt was against him, Gerald waged war on the people of the moon and used benders for the first time in eras. Of course this shocked the people, seeing modern weapon usage along with olden times warfare. In haste at the increasing victory of Gerald, Earth destroyed more than half of the moon, killing everyone on it. Things were never the same after that. Garibalde's legacy lived on indefinitely as his son, Ashgard Garibalde despised the AWO (Aang World Order) for doing what they did to his father. He wanted to be legendary and felt that Aang would have wanted him to do so. He felt that the AWO were doing everything against Aang's teachings and therefore must be taken down.There was one thing he felt he needed though. The Avatar. With whoever it was now, they could serve as the weapon of mass destruction if taught properly. Of course he would have to find it. He soon began working on a plan to overthrow the AWO and create a new order. He thus caled upon people who shared his vision, people from each nation for each type of bending for a versatile army. And thus began the havoc of the future.
In order to draw out the Avatar, he decided to wage war on every city in every nation, knowing the Avatar would have some say in it as bending was revitalized in the people. The Avatar was eventually found, and captured. After he refused to give a name, and refused to work with Ashgard, he came up with something more devious. The maniac began putting the Avatar into a series of agonizing experiments, eventually capable of successfully replicating his DNA and copying it and making his own Avatars. He named the Avatar, Avatar Genisis as being the one who was able to make this all possible and sent him into a status of suspended animation, so he could not age therefore he could be kept for further study. However, the Artificial Avatars did not like the idea of being a weapon, a copy, a fake, and object and eventually defected from Gerald. Gerald was eventually captured and him and the rest of The Order were take into custody by the AWO.
Now with Benders and followers of the Order running around, the AWO had a very important descision to make. To kill off all benders in order for a a safer environment or let them be as they are human and deserve a chance. They did not want another Garibalde lineage to come about and shatter peace and prosterity, but they also needed to keep in mind humanity. This lead to a split in the government. Part of the AWO that kept the name, vouched for the survival of bending, while the other half now called PC (Prosperity Corps) vouched for the termination of Benders and Avatars for a better future. More generations passed as Benders and Artificial Avatars were now being hunted down and the best thing to do was try to be normal. However the people began getting restless. They felt a crisis upon thier hands and war had the possibility of showing it's ugly head. The Order began to arise again, wanting to overthrow both the AWO and PC, and thus rule the world. Avatar Genisis' Avatar State had activated, and thus the place where Future (the scroll Aang created) is has now been revealed through pillars of light that quickly dissipated. The Order's army has been assembled under the rule of the final Garibalde: Mako who has been the first to find a Future scroll, and has an army of Benders of Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind alike to do his bidding. The AWO has been crumbling. They have a rag-tag resistance of angry humans, benders and Artificial Avatars that is slowly deteriorating. The PC have an army of machines and humans to do thier bidding, and plenty of Bending hunting methods.
This war decides the fate of one thing:

The Above Too Long?

Basically this story takes place in the Future. It may seem VERY long in the future but it's not too long. A few thousand years or so. Aang had discovered there was more than one type of bedning and found pretty much all of them then and then wrote how he found em all down in a scroll he named Future thinking maybe the people of the Future would handle it correctly. Aang and Co. restored peace to everything and then died and everyone loved them and built statues and and all that jazz. They created the Aang World Order (AWO) which was dedicated to maintain peace and whatnot. So time goes on and technology flourishes and theres cars and tv and videogames yadda yadda yadda bending gets forgotted. No one uses it anymore. They CAN they just DONT. Then this dude Gerald comes along and is all like woah i can earthbend and junk. Ba Sing Se's economy is droppin and stuff and the world is over populating cuz more time is passing by and so Gerald is all like let's all go to the MOOOON we can live longer and stuff. But he only wants Earthbenders. AWO say no and hes mad so he wages war on the people of the moon, getting a whole bunch of Earthbenders and the people are like woah earth and guns at the same time aaaaaahhh. So the AWO blow up the moon. Well most of it. Gerald's son, Ashgard is all mad cuz what they did to his dad so he decides to get an army of all types of benders and overthrow the AWO cuz he thinks they arent doing what Aang wants and that HE can do better. So he wants to get the Avatar. He does and takes his DNa and creates weaker versions called Artificial Avatars and calls him Avatar Genisis. The Artificial ones escape and Ashgard is captured. The AWO wants to either kill all benders so nothing like this could happen again, or leave them be and focus on getting the Order. They split because they couldn't decide. Now the Order is led by Mako Garibalde, and the AWO is fighting against The Order and Propserity Corps. And the locations of Future have been revealed, and the AWO feels that if they can attain Future, they may be able to save the world.
