But i read this one thing that said diz was a good guy and helped sora or i misread something.........

They ARE the researchers. There's plenty of clues in the other Ansem reports.
But I thought Xehanort, Braig, Dilan, Even, Elaeus and Ienzo are Ansem's (DiZ) only assistants and researchers....possibly the other six are are researchers and assistants to them? But then can't be because Luxord is a gambler, not a researcher.

Many Nobodies lose their humanoid form, like the Heartless. However, in the case of a Nobody born from the owner of a strong heart, their appearance will barely change from that of their original humanoid form.
The men who betrayed me seem to have become Nobodies that retained a humanoid form, and furthermore, have begun gathering companions in order carry out some new plan.
With the traitors at it's core, the "Organization XIII" was formed from the Nobodies of 13 people, and split into two groups. They said something about advancing research.
In order to search for the purpose behind this organization, I've decided to head to the place where six of them have gathered. Rising up over the edge of the World In-Between, the "Castle Oblivion".
