Here Red...a new chappy....you can stop spazing now
Chapter 6: Starting a New Journey
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
(Kaze POV)
Shiranai showed me to my room and said to make myself comfortable. As soon as she leaves I kick off my shoes and flop down on the bed. Putting my hands behind my head, I look to my right, out of the window. It’s a clear night and I can see every star sparkle in its own radiance. Something was out there waiting for me. I was tired of waiting for something to happen to me, I was going to take my life into my own hands. I knew Shiranai told me to wait until morning but something was telling me to go now. I hopped off the bed and slipped my shoes back on. Carefully, I creaked open the door and peered down the hallway. Nothing. I crept out of the room, careful not to make a sound. Shiranai had told me where Axel’s room was but I had no time to get him. I didn’t need someone dragging me down, especially someone who broke into my apartment and kidnaped me.
I dashed down the long white hall, hoping to find the way out. Finally I see a door. I quicken my pace, excitement rushing through my body. I pushed open the door and let the cool night breeze brush past my body. I look back to see the building I had come from but to my surprise its gone. Suddenly I feel a little regret flow through my veins. What if Shiranai needed to tell me something important in the morning? I shook off the feeling. There was no turning back now.

(Sora POV)
I was back. It seemed so sureal that I had to keep reminding myself that this was reality. I was back on Destiny Island, with Riku and Kairi. We had just landed but I knew that today was going to be good.. I was the first one off of the gummi ship. No sooner than my feet sank into the sand, I saw Kairi, sitting on the beach staring out at the ocean. She was in deep though, not even realizing me standing on the beach. I decided to sneak up from behind her. I jump up onto the shore shack and onto the path near the waterfall. I then slowly walk towards Kairi, hoping she wouldn’t hear me. Finally I crouch down onto my knees and put my arms around her. She stiffens up but doesn’t turn around.
“I kept my promise Kai.” I whispered into her ear, feeling her body quiver from my voice.
“Sora...” She finally turns and hugs me to the sand. I can feel her grasp on me get tighter and tighter. I savor every bit of her, the way she smells, the touch of her skin.
“Does that mean..?” Suddenly she whips up and looks across the beach. I sit up from her hug and there’s Riku, with his arms crossing his chest and a smirk on his face.
“Hey Kairi.” He simply states. I smile, knowing its taking everything in Riku’s power not to just hug Kairi. Instead Kairi jumps up and glomps Riku. I find myself a little jealous, even though she’s my girlfriend. He returns the embrace and looks up at me, giving me a wink. I have to remind myself that Riku is only joking but I can’t help but get a little upset.
“Where were you and how did Sora find you?” He let out a small laugh and walked Kairi over to where I was sitting. They both sat down, Kairi sitting between Riku and I. Riku explained what happened while I just listened, hardly believing how easy it was myself.
“I’m just glad that you both are safe and sound.” I look over at her, sadness in my eyes. She looks over at me and looks into my eyes. She knows what’s about to happen.
“Sora....I know you have to leave, don’t worry. Go find the door to the light.” I smile and giver her a small hug.
“I’ll stay tonight. We have a lot of things to catch up on and I think we deserve to be together, the three of us.” Kairi’s smile was the biggest I had ever seen. Joy had overcome Riku as well, his smirk turning into a genuine smile.

(Kaze POV)
“Where do you think you’re going?” I feel my spine stiffen. I summon my keyblade and whip around only to find Axel.
“You dumb ass kid, it’s only me. Put the weapon away before you hurt yourself.” I just stare at him, hate radiating from my body. My arm shoots out to the side of my body and the keyblade disappears. I turn around and ignore Axel, hoping he gets the hint.
“Look, I don’t want t follow you but I have to.” Stated Axel. There was nothing I could do. This jerk was going to follow me whether I like it or not. I just sighed and kept walking, hearing Axel soon follow suet.
After cooling down a little, I start to realize my surroundings. I see nothing but the night sky, the dirt path, and fields of grass. I was starting to get bored, wishing something exciting would happen. I had spoke to soon. Suddenly I hear a high pitched scream from up ahead. I summon my keyblade, ready to help whoever made the dire cry. I run forward and my eyes behold a terrible scene. There is a mass of shadows around a girl, around my age. Already she is bloody and seems to be losing strength quickly. How could shadows do this much damage? I jump toward the shadows and slash at them, hoping my keyblade could do some damage. Suddenly the shadows turn towards me and start attacking me with full force. I had to take a step back, not really knowing what to do. I held my keyblade in front of me, bracing myself for their attack.
“Rrrrrrrrrraaaaaaawwwwwwwwwrrr!!” Suddenly Axel jumps in and slashes at the shadows, making every single one disappear. He stands straight in front of me.
“Are you really that stupid? You can’t even defeat simple shadow heartless!” He turns his head towards me and glares. Embarrassment rushes over my face. I was so focused on saving the girl that I hadn’t even thought about my fighting abilities. Suddenly I remember the girl. I look past Axel and see her lying on the ground, blood trickling from a wound on her head. I run forward and pick her up.
“Hey!! Are you ok?” That was a stupid question. How could she be ok with blood coming from her head? Despite my stupid question, her eyes fluttered open. She looked up at me and smiled.
‘Thank you’ she mouthed, unable to sound out the words. As soon as the words left her mouth her eyes shut.I lied her back down on the ground and tore a strip of fabric from my shirt. I quickly wrapped it around her head in hope it would stop the bleeding. I then took the time to look her over. She had long brown hair with dark brown streaks. She was wearing a blue tank with matching sleeves only covering her forearms. She was also wearing a simple silver skirt. I then notice a couple of feet away a staff lying in the grass.
“She must practice magic.” Axel says simply, as if that was the only important thing.
“We need to get her to a hospital.” I say, insistence in my voice.
“No.” Axel says. I can’t believe him! Is he that cold hearted!?!
“What do you mean! If we don’t she might die!!” I yell in his face, hoping to get my point across.
“By the time we get her there she will be dead. Now summon your keyblade.” Did he want me to kill her, to put her out of her misery?
“I’m not going to kill her...” I whisper, my voice cracking from the thought of doing it.
“You really are an idiot. You can use your keyblade to cast spells. Now summon your keyblade and say ‘Heal’ It will cure her and she will be fine.” He gives me a look that makes me feel so stupid. I was determined to not let him control me but right now I had no option. I summoned my keyblade and did exactly what Axel told me to do.
“Heal.” I say softly, holding my keyblade right over her head. Suddenly a green glow emanates from the keyblade and all of her blood disappears. I remove the bandage from her head and realize that there is no longer a wound there. Again her eyes opened.
“Sorry we couldn’t get here sooner. I hope you’re ok.” She sits up and looks me over, finally smiling when she’s satisfied.
“What’s your name?” I ask, hoping to open the window of conversation.
“Kirai is my name.” She states, that smile never leaving her face.
