Each cup has a handicap and special ... uh ... thing about it. This Cerberus Cup makes you go solo but it also allows you use your Drives. :3

the reason is he is fighting alone in the colisium. Donald and Goofy arn't in the battle but they are still present. That is why you can drive alone at that time.

Don't think about it. The Cup fights never make sense, they're non-canon. Didn't you notice you could fight bosses you had killed a long time ago in the first KH in Cup matches?
