Final Fantasy Parties!

in FF series everyone uses the same chcarcters whenever possible who did u use!

FFVII- Cloud, Aries, RedXIII (Then Cid when Aries Died)
FFVIII- Squall, Zell, and Rinoa
FFIX- Ziadan, Dagger, Armant, Freya
FFX- Tidus, Yuna, Auron

I always switched characters in & out of every battle in X. Could you do that in the previous FFs?

nope lol...X changed the party system alot. In other FF u pick 3 or 4 (depending on the game your playing) and u can only switch them when ur on the world map or when ur on a save point

I liked the VII system, but i wished that everyone got experience instead of just those in the party but...hey X did fix that. I liked X's system in the fact that you got to play with each character in the same battle if you wanted to and it made alot of strategy available.

I agree I liked X's system, but it didn't really make you strategize to your fullest. Whereas IX when each character had a specific job, and you could only have a party of 4, you really had to think ahead for the battles.

Actually they did. They got like, one forth or something like that. Anyway.
VII- Cloud, Barret, Red XII, and when I got Cid I replaced Barret.
VIII- Never beat but, Squall, Zell, and Irvine
IX- Zidane, Garnet, Vivi, Steiner
X- Tidus, Auron, Wakka, and sometimes switched Wakka out for Yuna.
XII- Just joking.

FFVIII: Squall, Zell, Selphie
FFIX:Zidane, Garnet, Vivi, Eiko
FFX: Tidus, Auron, Rikku
FFT: Orlandu, Worker 8, Agrias, the rest are mastered Calculators with math skills
FFTA: Three Paladins with White Magic, Illusionist Magic, and Ninja Skill, and 10 levels on their respective sub-job;Two Templars with Prayer, both have 10 lv. as Bishops. One Moogle Gunner leveled up as Gadgeteer(t0t@1 t@|\|K@g3) with every Charge ability. Murder with a backup-you can't touch it.
FFX-2:Set-up 1: Yuna-Berserker, Rikku-Samurai, Paine-Dark Knight
Set up 2:Yuna-Dark Knight, Rikku-Warrior with White Magic, Paine-Gunner.
(That game SO needed Paladin and Ninja Dresspheres)

VIII- Squall, Zell, Irvine
IX- Zidane, Vivi, Garnet, Steiner (sometimes switched Steiner with Amarant)
X- mostly Tidus, Auron, Kimhari for the stength, and then when I needed the magic/ summons, I added Yuna and Lulu. Rarely used Wakka.

Final Fantasy VIII (for as long as I could stand it): Squall, Quistis, Zell
Final Fantasy IX: Zidane, Vivi, Steiner, Garnet or Eiko. Sometimes I switched Vivi with Quina.
Final Fantasy X: Tidus, Yuna, Auron or Rikku. Sometimes I even used Lulu. I never used Wakka and I only used Kimahri a couple times.
