I would like to point some stuff out...
First, if you are planning on such a project, good luck.
Programmers -They just have to make the game's graphical engine.
Not an easy task, believe me. I've done those before, and they are extremely complicated and create MANY bugs during your first few tries. >.<
Scripters -Somewhat similar to what the programmers do.. except they basically only work on the game's 'internal system' engine.
IE- If it's an RPG, they develope the battle system, etc.
Digital Artists -Develops the character art/world surroundings.
Stat tester/modifier -Seems to be more of a 'Alpha/Beta' tester to meh.
Quest story layout -Exactly as it states. Story designer.
Mapmakers -Creates the game's virtual 'world' that the current events take place in. Similar to the Digital Artists, but more of a 'daunting' challenge, as they have ALOT more areas to cover.
(You are missing some very critical things
Sound: Yea, the people that make all the SFX for the game.
(Sounds make a game ALOT better.)
Music: Just people that make the 'background' music for the game.
(Makes the game more 'pleasant' for longer durations of time.)
Network: Depends if you want the game to be multiplayer or not.
(This one has both good and bad qualities..)
I don't really know what kind of game you are looking into making, that should be one of the first things you let people know. What kind of game you are wanting to design. (So people that are truely interested will reply.)
If you are planning on an RPG game:
I think you should check out:
Never Winter Nights (About $20-50..) from your local gamestore.
Or google 'RPG Maker XP'.. it's actually pretty good, but takes awhile to edit your rpg.
Good luck.
