Wait, if Ven's heart wasn't released into Roxas' body, and Sora was a heartless throughout KH2(the part that retained his original heart) then how was Roxas able to use a keyblade so early in Days? I know he eventually grew his own heart towards the end. But without utilizing Ven's, were did his keyblade come from at the beginning of days. Unless he was just able to take Sora's while he was asleep

Ven's heart stayed with Sora's body, A.K.A Roxas. Sora and Roxas were apparently able to share the same Keyblade at the same time.

And note that they're all human. anything that dies in Disney movies is of somewhat realistic origin as opposed to the Mouse.

This is not a very logical conclusion. as I and some others have pointed out, the number of hits the characters take in game is not really canon. In Cutscenes, with or without an accompanying battle it's either slash n'block or a character is weakened by as little as one hit. Just like in a movie or TV show, and let's face it Square doesnt normally give a story explanation for anything except that absolute biggest gameplay elements and in KH1 and BBS, there were in-character references to gummi controls and save points.

Ultimately what I've thought about is this quite largely *in addition to* all the stuff we know about the Human body. The series tries to deal with existence, adding four simple concepts of what makes a human or a living thing to what we already know. Really, the only things about the heart, soul, body and mind as portrayed in KH is that, however absurd as it may seem, they are these fantastical elements to life that are somehow forever beyond our ability to grasp aside from a few impulses and wires.

to be fair, timmy was probably referring to most (Nickelodeon) children's entertainment and a much simpler type of game. Did anything bad ever happen to Mario or Sonic?

No, not really. And, wasn't it in the older films that the hero is mostly always a guy, who comes from a humble or elitist background, gets the girl and they live happily ever after. I mean by this as in King Phillip from Beauty in the Beast. He doesn't have a tragic backstory and ends up saving Aurora from the fairy, Maleficent. But, different stories have different ways of portraying different genres to different people.

So we agree on that front. Older movies, especially action and adventure(films like the Adventures of Robin Hood and King Kong) were basically the kids' films of the 30's, before what is today qualified as kid's entertainment. they were relatively simple.

Likewise, the simple nature of games like Jumpman or even modern mario never required anything bad to happen to the heroes as they were too simple for stories and character development beyond the basic premise of the game. They were the good guy and the player, and were faced with simple obstacles so only game overs could ever happen to them.

I think you mixed up something there. When Sora became a Heartless he lost his body. Roxas' developing own sense of self inhabited Sora's old body, in which Ven's heart was situated.
When purified by Kairi Sora returned to human form through her heart, not his own. This, together with what Ansem the Wise said in DDD:
Ansem the Wise said:
Sora was the only one able to return to his human form without destroying his Nobody. That is a statement to the love in his heart for other people, and the bonds that tie them together.

explains how Sora and Roxas were able to coexist.

The Keyblade Roxas uses at first is Sora's, and until after CoM happened Sora and Roxas actually use the same Keyblade at two places at once, since Ven's Keyblade is sealed away inside Ven's injured heart and only awakened when Roxas has an emotional breakdown when Xion dies.
