Just Picked Up The Game - Question

Hey, just picked up the game after work, (didn't seem all that great to get it on its release date, seeing I played it on the GBA). Was just wondering if there is a difference in Standard Mode and Proud Mode?

I don't feel like getting the extra stuff in Stand mode to unlock things, so is there a difference or is it just harder.

I picked it up today to but before work.

I have yet to play it yet (letting brother play first) but from what iv heard from other people its just harder.

All the extra features added to the game are playable in either mode.
