Ok over the few days my bone manipulator Alacer, has gone through a few changes. I was wanting to try him out with his new powers. This will be an one on one. The rules are the normal things. No g-modding, power playing, and literacy. The location is an old graveyard. Here is my template.

Name: Alacer Bonimere

Nickname: Controller of Bones

Age: No one knows how old Alacer is, because of his rapid healing he cant die of diesis or old age. After age 25 his face and body stopped changing.

Gender: Male

Race: Bonedarian, A Bonedarian has a human form. These beings can manipulate bones, putting them under their control. Bonedarians can rapidly heal. They are from a realm far away. The name of the realm is Bonedara. In Bonedara the main form of entertainment is fighting. All Bonedarians are strong, tough, and competitive.

Pure Race or Mix: Pure Race

Height: 5’9
Weight: 100 Lbs. (Depends on the density and quantity of Alacer’s bones at the time)
Hair: Alacer’s hair is short all around other then on the front. His bangs hang down just above his eyes covering his eyebrows. His hair is colored bone grey.
Eyes: Bone grey

~ Appearance: Alacer wears a white tank top over seemingly flawless light tan skin. He is toned and fit although not muscularly large. His pants are baggy-like black cargo pants. Alacer’s face really singles him out of the crowd. His eyes seem to pierce you with an icy stare. He has ears that are close to the side of his head although they don’t touch the side of his head. His mouth is small yet an extremely intimidating voice flows out of it behind his white straight teeth. Alacer’s nose is straight and not very long if anything you could call it short. His chin is pointed and strong. Alacer wears no bracelets or rings to make it easier when he brings forth a bone from his arm. Normally he would wear a pair of white tennis shoes, but when he gets in a fight he removes them and goes barefoot incase he needs to use the bones in his feet.

~Personality: What many take for arrogance is simply self-assurance. Alacer is very sure of his self although he is not overly arrogant. He is willing to take on anyone at any time in a fight. He is cunning and swift to act in battle. Alacer seems to stay calm throughout a battle even when things aren’t looking very good. Alacer has a quick tongue that can cut as deep as his bones can cut a foe. In a fight, he is a force to be reckoned with because of his devastating attacks and cunning schemes.

~Skills: Alacer is a Bonedarian, meaning he can manipulate bones. He can use his own bones as projectiles, a weapon like a sword or spear, or even a shield. These are just a few of the things he can manipulate his bones to do. Alacer is always finding new things he can do with his power. His latest power he has found is by taking a bone in each hand he can cut a hole or rift in the universe its self. This is helpful for escaping attacks or pulling attacks into the rift keeping them away from Alacer. His power doesn’t stop at his own bones though. He can manipulate his opponent’s bones as well. Alacer can break a foe’s leg bone, yank the bones out of their body, shrink their bones so that their insides are flattened resulting in death, or even simply crush their skull. Alacer has a knack for coming up with new ways to manipulate his opponent’s bones. All Bonedarians poses the power of rapid healing, therefore when they use a bone of their own a new one grows right back into its place. If they shoot a bone from their skin then they rapidly heal the hole where the bone shot out. Alacer’s last and weakest power is the control of air. He can walk on it, float on it, or use it to blow foes into the air then slam them back down onto the ground. Alacer can also fly at tremendous speeds by using air to push him from the back, as well as removing any air in front of him that would hold him back. In a recent fight, Alacer has almost doubled his power by absorbing into his bones and mind, nothing. He stepped into the realm of nothing, where nothingness comes from. He can now control what things are made of. Meaning if he fights a spirit he can make the nothingness inside of them become bones so that he can manipulate the spirit’s bones. If there is a place where nothing exist or space with nothing in it, he can change what is in it, or what the nothing is made out of. Basically he can make bones appear where ever nothing exist giving him a range new range of ways to use his power over bones.

~Weaknesses: Alacer’s main weakness is foes that don’t have bones.

~Biography: Bonedara has been around since time began. It started out as a small piece of land with only two beings on it. The land was made out of bones. The two beings on it were in constant search of ways to expand their small piece of land. When one day they found a way to manipulate bones. Their land grew into a thriving metropolis. When they were satisfied with the size of their land, they began experimenting with their powers. They would try to make the bones that they dug from the earth into other living beings. When at last they succeeded in making another living being. Excited with their find they kept going making more and more, giving a little variety to each.

Eventually there was hundreds upon thousands of Bonedarians. Life there was boring. There was little to do there, and because the planet was made of bone there was no work to be done. Houses, buildings, and any other structures could be made on a mere whim. One day when two siblings got into an argument it surpassed words. They came to blows, but when the other beings came to see the fight instead of breaking it up they simply watched for entertainment. This started a tournament that happened monthly. The champion would be respected for one month then would go back to being just another contestant.

One day an unknown realm visited the realm of Bonedara. The unknown realm had fighters that wished to compete in the monthly tournament. Though the stakes were far higher then any other tournament there had ever been. Whichever realm was the home of the winning fighter would take control of the opposite realm. All of the bonedarians gathered together and paid a visit to the “wise ones.” The “wise ones” were the original two beings. All of them combined their powers to create the ultimate fighter. This fighter would have abilities that only the others had dreamed of having. He could control the bones of others. When the ceremony was complete there was a new being standing in their midst. He said that his name was Alacer Bonimere.

The next week the tournament started. The fights were brutal. Some people were killed while others were only injured. Alacer however won fight after fight hardly ever even being touched. When at last the tournament was about to come to a close. The fighter from the realm unknown and Alacer. The following fight was epic and would be told by both sides of the fight for many years to come. They struck blow after blow both attacking both defending. Finally when Alacer decided enough was enough he concentrated hard and broke the fighters legs. His foe dropped to his knees beaten. Alacer was going to be merciful which was against his nature.

Only because of his respect for the other fighter was he going to spare him. When Alacer turned his back his opponent threw a throwing knife at him. The knife stuck in Alacer’s back deep but not deep enough to kill him. “So, you wont to die?” Alacer concentrated and with a snap of his fingers his opponent’s skull caved in upon his brain delivering instant death. Alacer was the hero of Bonedara. From that day on he became known as “The Controller of Bones.”

I will leave the opening post to you, the creator.

------Name: The May Queen, The Blood Rose or The Parasite Flower

-------Age: This particular May Queen is roughly four hundred and sixty seven years old. The previous May Queens have lived up to the lofty ages of 3876 years before spreading their seeds and passing into that eternal night. Although there may be many seeds spread across the world at once, only one blooms into the May Queen at a time. In order to accomplish this, the chosen seed quickly sends out strong fumes into Earth's atmosphere, which carry and, when picked up by the other sentient seeds, alert them that the May Queen has been chosen. When the current incarnation dies, it will spread seeds into Earth's jet streams and another May Queen will be chosen. If, for some reason, such a process is impeded upon, one of the previous May Queen's seeds will bloom.

-------Appearance: Once fully bloomed, a May Queen may reach heights up to thirty feet tall. The visible base of the sentient plant is a sturdy, thick stem easily fifteen feet in diameter and, through the species' millenia of adaptation, highly resistant to physical attacks. The dermal tissue is as hard as steel, while still allowing water and carbon dioxide to flow through. It is comprised of several external layers that get progressively thinner as they near the top of the plant. Roots, as hard as the stem and much more flexible, extend from it, rising in and out of the ground as they snake their way further into the earth. If it so desires, the May Queen is capable of using these roots to attack opponents, defend against them or absorb opponents altogether. Through specialized capillaries, the May Queen is capable of using her roots, as well as every part of its body, to secrete poisons of various intents and lethalities. At the plant's will, the stem is capable of temporarily shooting upwards in order to protect the flower that adorns it.

Above the stem, rather than a thinner section, rests a large red rose, just as wide as the plant's stem. The deep, stunning red offsets the gentle green of the plant's stem and the dark center is often covered by its petals. The flower's petals are extraordinarily sharp, a defense mechanism used to injure those who steer too close. The petals often flutter in any breeze provided and, should the May Queen decide to move from location to location, provide an air-tight shield that encases the pistil of the flower by folding inwards.

The pistil of the May Queen is truly a sight to behold. As a result of its adaptation and ever-increased contact with humans, as well as subsequent ingestion thereof, the pistil now takes the form of a bald, pale, human female. Nude aside from the flowers around her, the May Queen's pistil may appear as anything from a very young girl to a fully matured woman, depending upon the plant's age. It acts as the mind of the plant, the section where its sentience, concious mind, memories and all cognitive existence is centered. The pistil rarely speaks and when it does, it speaks at little more than a basic level, communicating only main thoughts through the spoken word. The pistil is not as durable as the stem and as such, often stays within its rose shield. The pistil's form seems to be kneeling languidly inside of her rose, her "legs" connected to the flower itself.

--------Abilities: The May Queen species is one capable of immediate adaptation and a very sturdy plant to boot. Past May Queens have thrived on the rims of volcanoes and at the bottom of the sea. They have existed on the highest mountain peaks and in the deepest canyons. When attacked by a virus, the May Queen's advanced immune system immediately generates antibodies used to locate and destroy the invading virus. The speed of the eradication dpends upon the strength and quantity of the virus injected. The more severe the infection, the longer the eradication. It is capable of adapting to extremities in order to ensure its survival, acclimating to intense heat or frigid cold. The color of the rose's petals depends upon what his has adapted to. High altitudes cause the rose to become white, whereas intense heat gives the rose a fiery red hue. Excessive water or cold lends the flower a blue tint and an abundance of surrounding vegetation gives the rose a green color.

The May Queen is granted a high degree of control over surrounding vegetation. In humans, this ability is called chlorokinesis. She is capable of impaling attacker through the use of mutated plant roots, choking her victims to suffocation through vines, and crushing the bodies of her assailants underneath her fellow plants. The May Queen is able to bolster quick evolution and growth of plants, as well as the manufacturing of immensely varying toxins. The toxins are spread in several ways, through spores, injected fluids or highly acidic liquids. Capable of turning the tiniest lily is a furious embodiment of nature's wrath, The May Queen presents a powerful threat to any who dare stray too close.

Aside from her natural chlorokinesis, the May Queen also weilds a degree of geokinesis, also known as the mental ability to control and manipulate Earth. She mainly uses this to pummel her opponents or crush them beneath boulders. She can dig tunnels with ease and creae large fissures in the earth. One particular May Queen utilized this power to such an extent that her lair was at the end of a series of catacombs dug 100 feet into the earth.

The May Queen perpetually releases pheromones into the air around it. Depending upon its desires, the the pheromones have varying effects. They can be used to drive creatures around it into a blind, confused rage, or lull them to a quiet, peaceful slumber. These pheromones are transferred through the air and affect creatures when they are inhaled. The May Queen, though rarely, has shown some mercy in her existence. Rather than lulling some victims of hers to sleep, then aborsbing them, the May Queen had entranced them to be her servants. She then acts like a mother, often holding the entranced ones in her vines and cradling them like children. Upon their eventual death, as all things eventually succumb to time, the May Queen aborbs her "children", allowing their conciousness to live on inside of her.

The May Queen a sight range of three hundred and sixty degrees, effectively rendering her capable of seeing in all directions. This allows her to see even when her pistil is enclosed in the rose. As such, she is nigh impossible to sneak up on and even harder to surprise at all. Having no true front side, the May Queen, obviously, has no back side.

Despite her rather grounded appearance, The May Queen can be surprisingly mobile when she so desires. Using either her roots or geokinetic abilities to bolster movement, the May Queen is capable of traversing large distances with great speed and power. She is capable of moving beneath the surface of the earth by digging into the crust and creating tunnels for her to utilize. The May Queen can collapse these tunnels at will, should another being attempt to use them as well.

The May Queen's main way of surviving is through the absorbtion of other beings. After incapacitating then, the May Queen assimilates them into her body. After such an event, they are connected to the May Queen's nervous system and injected with multitudes of paralyzing neurotoxins. These toxins keep the victim physically alive while rendering them incapable of any movement or rebellion against her. The May Queen begins to absorb their conciousness into her own, slowly and progressively rendering her victims brain-dead.During this, the victims are digested to provide nourishment for the Queen. Using her stolen conciousnesses, the May Queen is able to communicate with her victims, usually through the mental voice of one of her past victims. Upon the defeat of a May Queen, all of that Queen's stolen conciousnesses are psychically transferred to the next Queen.

The May Queen is an intelligent, sentient creature. She is capable of her own thoughts and actions. The Queen possesses problem-solving skills as well as the capability to plan and strategize. She is well beyond the base conciousness of the lesser plants. As a creation of the Earth and its spirit, the May Queen holds an innate resistance to magick.

-------Personality: The personality of the May Queen leaves quite a bit to be desired. Although a sentient and intelligent creature, the May Queen hangs in the gap between a purely logical creature and one of solely instinct. She is mostly driven by the desire to spread, feed, and perpetuate her own life as well as her entire race. Due to this, nearly all of her actions are designed to serve those purposes. She will attempt to neutralize, destroy, and possiblly devour any of those who attacker and will not hesitate to destroy entire settlements in order to provide the desired nesting ground.

However, as her conciousness grows, the May Queen shows some astonishingly human traits. On rare occasions, the May Queen will subject humans to severely hypnotic pheromones and, rather than eat them, she will begin to act as a caretaker, or a mother. She tends to her "children", treating them like helpless infants as she holds them gently in her vines. Her "children" live the remainder of their lives in a clueless euphoria, truly seeing the May Queen as their mother and themselves as dependend upon her. Whether or not absorption is a better fate is a question best left up to philosophers. If they are attacked, the May Queen becomes very hostile and defends her "children" vigorously. As her conciousness increases, the May Queen has grown an fondness for music. This fondness for music his one of her most exploitable flaws. Music soothes the savage beat.

--------History: Demeter, goddess of the harvest. She had lost her daughter Persephone to that accursed Hades. Livid, she struck the earth barren and refused to allow anything to grow. The seasons reflected her emotions. When Persephone was reunited with her mother and released from Hades grasp, the land was fertile and plants grew freely. Spring and summer set upon the world. When Persephone was forced to return to the Underworld, the land became frigid and bare as fall and winter took their hold upon the land. Demeter was furious at Hades for taking her daughter away from her and although the use of fall and winter helped to channel this rage, it was nowhere near big enough to exact Demeter's wrath.

During one particularly cold winter, Demeter faced a great dishonor. Humans began to rehect her, even after it as Demeter herself who had given humans the gift of agriculure. They believed their bountiful crops from summer were the result of human "superiority", rather than divine will. It was a truly arrogant belief, indeed.

It was then that Demeter would exact her wrath. Ceres, goddess of growing plants, pitied Demeter's recent bad luck and gave her a seed, informing the furious goddess that it would aid her in her revenge. Demeter infused within this seed her anger for the farmers, hatred for Hades, and her terrible longing for her daughter. This seed contained a beast of Ceres' and Demeter's own creation, one of great beauty and one of even greater power. It would be with this seed that Demeter would unleash her fury upon those who forsaked her.

She named her creation the May Queen, referencing spring and the joy that came when Persephone was allowed to visit her. She planted this seed on Earth, and used the creature it bore to exact her revenge upon the humans. The May Queen ingested those traitorous humans, absorbing them and ridding the world of their traitorous actions. With each human she ingested, the May Queen became more powerful and better suited to act upon Demeter's anger.

However, Demeter's anger was short-lived. She quickly felt as though her anger upon the humans had been exacted and realized that no matter how many she killed, it would not lessen the pain of having to give Persephone up to Hades every year. Yet, the May Queen still existed and the urge to spread and feed did not leave her as quickly as Demeter's anger left her. Demeter, though knowing that the May Queen had helped relieve her of her debilitating and blinding anger, realized that her existence was threatening the existence of all humans rather than those who betrayed her.

As Demeter made the final decision to destroy the May Queen, the newly-sentient plany took steps of its own. It began to act of its own accord, defying the orders of a goddess. Before Demeter wiped the original May Queen off of the face of the Earth, The May Queen dispersed its seeds and, with the blessings of Aeolus, traveled through the wind to the many corners of the globe. Demeter remained unaware of the plant's actions and, after destroying the original May Queen, believed the threat to be over and cast such thoughts from her mind.

The May Queen's descendants stayed hidden from the Goddess, living in deep forests, sunken canyons and all other extremities so that they may grow and assimilate others in relative peace. Only now, after the gods and goddesses of old have been forgotten and cast into oblivion, have the May Queens chosen to make their presence more noticeable. As their conciousness increases, so does their desire to grow and spread.

Few are safe from the Queen.

The air was thick, the sky was dark with heavy clouds and Alacer was on his way. There was a battle about to be fought. Alacer and an unknown opponent. The fight was going to be challenging, Alacer had improved since his last fight. He now knew how to control nothingness much better.

A silent rift appeared above a grave. The rift grew larger and Alacer stepped out. As he stepped out and onto a grave Alacer viewed his surroundings.

A graveyard? Excellant

He knew something was comming, or perhaps already there. Either way he was gonning to have a fight on his hands, and so soon after gaining his power over nothingness? This was going to be a great fight.

Above a layer of broken coffins, all submerged by dark earth, lay a creature who held dominion over the forces of Nature herself. She lie beneath a dome of roses, patient and unmoving as she held a silent vigil over all the she reigned. She saw everything and felt anything that would dare move across her fertile territory. This creature resided atop the earth as a magnificient example of Nature's glory and fury, a monstrous yet beautiful flower far taller than any human. She was an Empress of the earth, the Goddess of that which she ruled. She was the May Queen, the embodiment of Nature's unending wrath.

And she had just received news of an intruder. Her connection to the Earth and all that it encompassed told her of this creature that would dare enter her land. Vibrations provided by the ground would inform her of this creature's size and shape, while the sight given to her by her entire body would allow her to gain a view of this odd creature. The Queen attempted to classify this new creature, desiring to know what it was and what it was not.

This odd being walked on two stems, each of which was somehow unconnected to the Earth. Along its trunk lay two branches, each of which terminated in five smaller branches. It's canopy was pitiful, hardly covered by leaves at all. What a peculiar plant this was! If it were not a plant, then it must be some sort of animal, as it held many similarities to the Queen's past victims. If it was not a new kind of plant, it was a new kind of prey.

Perfect.

The May Queen began to hunt. Silently, she released pheromones into the air, sweet scents coursing and weaving in and out of the night's gloom. Her roots spread throughout the ground silently and slowly, hardly disturbing any of the soil it touched. As the ground within the cemetery had long since been turned into fertilizer, few, if any, bones remained. They had been used by the May Queen for nutrients, digested until nothing was left of them. The pheromones would continue their silent stroll through the air and upon reaching this intruder, would begin to cloud the mind and manipulate the senses. Though her abilities allowed her to produce varied toxins and chemicals, the ones that floated amongst the air were ones of a more sedative nature.

Of course, the May Queen was not without a contingency plan. Beneath this intruder, roots and thorns spread through fertile ground. Roots silently glided past empty coffins, their insides devoid of corpses and bones. All had been used to feed the May Queen. Each of them had been used as little more than sustenance.

The same fate would befall this unlucky intruder.

ooc: I wasnt sure what the pheromones you released into the air did. Sorry, can you explain?

ic:

Alacer steppind out into the midst of the graveyard. Looking left and right, he still couldnt see anything. He then had an idea. If he sent out waves of nothingness one after another about five seconds apart. If he felt the nothingness make contact with anything other then the gravestones and such he would at least know the location of his unknown foe.

There, there something was. But what was it? Alacer couldnt tell. What ever it was it was long, underground, and comming his way. Alacer didnt know what it was and wasnt in a hurry to find out the hard way, so he let himself lift up and then flew high up into the air.

He quit sending his nothingness waves out and waited.

ooc: I stated in my post that the pheromones were of a sedative nature. Sedative = calming, relaxing, and sleep-inducing. In this case, they would cloud your mind, clog your senses, and dull your reflexes.

Now I must ask a question. In your template, it stated that you could form bones from nothingness. It never stated that you could create nothing where there is something, That's just...ridiculous. What happens to the something?

IC:

This odd intruder left the comfort of the soft Earth, rising above the submerged vines yet even deeper into the currents of pheromones secreted by her Majesty. Silently and patiently, the Queen continued to release chemicals into the air, now combining trace amounts of a paralyzing neurotoxin within the sedative. Unless this creature decided to never breathe again, the poison was unavoidable. Alas, it seemed this prey would not last long.

Still, the May Queen kept her noiseless gaze fixed upon this intruder, his shilouhette now visible against the bright moon. Apparently, this creature held an ability similar to the odd feathered animals the May Queen had ingested from time to time. It seemed to move above the earth and through air, a very peculiar ability indeed. What was this ability? Why did it take place? Such questions would be considered, amongst psychologists, to be evidence of sentience and true intelligence. Against a creature that adapted to nigh any situation and held the power to defend herself against almost every other, few beings held much of a fighting chance.

However, the May Queen dared not lower her defenses. Several of her roots still moved beneath the earth. Yet above the soft soil, plants began to quiver with action. Silently, small vines began to cover every gravestone, red buds growing into existence along their lengths. Ivy quietly ruptured stone markings, sliding through cracks as vegetation filled the graveyard. Each red bud that adorned each vine quietly bloomed into brilliant flowers. They were the creation of the May Queen, an evolutionary offshot of a common plant created by her will alone. Beneath the pale moonlight, reds, oranges, and yellows attempted to cast away the pallid hue given to them by Night's mistress. In the pistil of each flower lay hundreds upon thousands of miniscule barbs. These barbs contained one of several poisonous concoctions of the May Queen, with effects ranging from nausea and dizziness, to vomiting and a lack of conciousness.

This creature's newfound levitation would not spare him from Nature's fury.

With nigh inaudible "puffs", the flowers released the barbs within their pistils, thousands upon thousands of miniscule barbs flying noiselessly towards the intruder. In the bright of day, these needles would be difficult to see.

In the dead of night, such a feat would be nearly impossible.

ooc: Ok I didnt unerstand what they did because you said they had different effects they could be used for. Also I dont create nothing it is already there. In a corner, in the midst of a room, basicaly where ever there isnt an object, then there is nothing.

ooc: No, in the midst of a room and in a corner there are air molecules and gaseous matter, effectively placing "something" where you believe "nothing" to be. The problem with your control over nothing is that there is something everywhere, at least within inhabitable planets, thereby making very few places actually contain nothing. There are air molecules around your character and therefore, there is something. Thus, "Nothing" cannot be created, much less exist.

Judgement made. I promise nobody will argue with this.

You said "nothing" was already there. Wrong. Nothing can't be there, for it is nothing. Nothing is there, that is what is there, not "nothing". "Nothing" can't be manipulated it you certainly can not get rid of matter or create it without some very EXTREME projections. Producing bone matter that spawns from your own body, maybe.

As for manipulating nothing, that is nonsensical. You can not send a wave of nothing, because as logic would dictate, uh.....that would do NOTHING.

Thus, nothing happened and you have done nothing. BN, void his last manuever and go on with your attack. If any other judge thinks they have a different view on the matter, by all take it up with me. The boy can not bend what does not exist.

I believe when he said nothing he meant it in the kingdom hearts sense of the word, in which nothing is actually something that is very powerful.

Unless I'm mistaken, although I'm pretty sure I hit the nail on the head.

The difference is vague. Nothingness is only made "real" by lingering bodies. They are not "nothings" they are "nobodies". They are nothing in the sense that they are not anything whole, but they are still physically existing beings.

Both D2L and ED speak the truth. Cronic, in the role play section we use (in many aspects) the laws of physics and common sense. Nothingness in Kingdom Hearts is actually nothing in the roleplaying world unless you specify it to actually be SOMETHING, such as the power of twilight in a solidified form.

And nothingness is actually an illusion, because there is always something everywhere.
