My opinion:
KH1 had a better emotional attachment to the characters and the bosses were difficult.

KH2 had better graphics, the reaction system, open boxes IN battle (my pet peeve with KH1), and the explanation of a Nobody has completely changed the game.

Because emotional attachment is highly rated in my book, I'd say the two games are equal, but for different reasons.

Not only is KHI worth buying, it's superior to it's sequel.

Well said.

Yeah, KH1 is worth buying. Once you sit down and start getting into the story, you won't want to put it down. The story is better and every world has a great story.

I don't know if it's just me, but when KH2 made the worlds more like the movie, it wasn't as interesting as KH1. Yeah, you had to from world to world sealing up Keyholes, but the worlds were a good length and made you want to finish the world. The gameplay takes more strategy and planning to beat. Most definitely it's more of a challenge that KH2. The ending was sad and made you so intriguied to get the sequel.

As far as KH2, all it was is button mashing. The graphics were phenomenal, and the effects and combo attacks looked so awesome, but it took the challenge factor away. You could literally beat it in a day if you wanted to. The story wasn't as deep and intense as in KH1. The only time where I thought KH2 was superior to 1 was The Hollow Bastion War because so much was going on at the same time. Like before, the world were more like the movie which didn't really make it that interesting to me. The ending was much more happy, but like KH1, it didn't leave a cliffhanger. Yeah, there's Mickey's note, but KH1 had what happned Riku and Mickey, will Sora ever return to Kairi and open the door, etc. I just found KH1 to be a better game.

KH1, i was dissapointed with KH2, i waited forever for it, and then beat it in 2 days =[
Warning, when you get a game you want to have fun with, choose HARD mode the first time.

I still went over the game like 4 times, but still wished i went through the storyline the first time, on hard.
