It's being released to the public on the 3rd, not the 2nd. This has been confirmed by Gamestop.

um I preordered it and they said in the store that they are receiving on the 2 and start selling on the 3

For those who are saying there's been 'no ads':
Go to www.GameFAQs.com [link].
Go to a forum topic.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Keep refreshing. Might take a while.
An ad will show up starting with falling cards.

I looked in gamestop's "Upcoming Games" book and it said it was coming out on the second. But whether it comes out then or a day later, I can care less because I'm still getting it either way.

IDK With the way things have been botched with the advertisment for this game and the way they're handling the overall release of it, I'm leaning against the idea that it won't happen.
No, not ads. Trailers, like on TV. There's been ads and we saw the site for the game a looooong time ago. I was the first person to post it on here and Madammina was the first to post it on the site itself. We caught it 5 minutes after it opened and I ordered the game in the 5 minutes after that.
To true and it'll pass just as quickly. Don't dwell on it, ignore it and it'll go by faster.
I personally don't really care when it comes out but, RE:CoM isn't what I'm waiting for. Persona4 bebeh!

1 more day wont hurt and considering we only knew a few months ahead of time that it was coming out vs. the few years of anticipation we're used to. I think we'll be fine.

Even though I've already played the original CoM and I've watched every cutscene there is related to Re:CoM, I'm still gonna get it if I can. There probably isn't much new content, but being able to play as Riku on a nice, big TV screen sounds pretty good.
