Moogle levels

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm trying to synthesize the Ultima Keyblade, and I heard you need to be on Moogle level 9. I'm only on level 1, since I don't work on synthesizing items all that much, besides Ultima. I have all the ingredients, I just need to level up my Moogle level. So, does anyone know how you gain Moogle levels? Are they gained by synthesizing items, or something else...? Thanks.

Same as KH1, you gain access to it, by making all the Synthesis items before it, that'll raise your level to nine by the time your done.

Yeah, it is stupid to synthesize items before it to gain levels, but luckily, I just got it about a half hour ago! It turns out I only needed to be about moogle level 2 or 3... forgot which.

u don't need to be level 9 to synth iut, u need to get the ultima weapon recipe first though. i got mine while my moogle was level 3

I totally agree with you, I still haven't gotten any of the Mystery Goo I need to finish everything else in KH1, and I've had it for about a year now! The only reason my little brother got any was because he fluked it completely!

the mystery goo isn't that hard to get, go to deep jungle, they have tons of white mushroooms. kh1 is not even half as bad as kh final mix where they have 9 new enemies and to get a specific item you have to hit a monster like 50 times in 10-20 seconds to get it and therews only like a 5% chance to get it. it's called the
pink agaricus
