[Samber]

Just some random poems i whipped up

Me

I am someone who cares
I want people to change, but I know they never will
Change for the good; To make the world a better place

I am yet still young, but I understand more than most

My life is like a flower, just beggining to bloom, yet it is still weak and fragile
But to truly be a flower, I must not only help myself, but others as well
Because there is no better flower than one who can make eveyone smile

There is more to me than meets the eye
So to truly know me, you must do more than just see me.


Elements

To each life is different
But elements are within all

Some may swim in water
Others indulge in salt
Many more strengthen themselves with calcium

But when these elements combine, somthing new forms

Combine it with the human element, and it all changes

Chlorine and sodium form creativity
Calcium creates curiosity
And Hydrogen mixed with Oxygen, form desire

The human element has done a many great things
As well as bad

But as long as we dream of a better tomorrow
There will be



Answers

Sometimes things aren't fair
And most times, you don't even dare
Dare to challenge yourself
For fear you will fail
But we must all sail

Sail on a journey of our own,
It will be hard
But life is just a random card

One that we must choose for ourselves
We need to spread our wings and fly
As if there was nothing but sky

We don't dare to question
But for every question, there is a lesson

One that has a deeper meaning than you realize
A lesson that you can't just get an answer
But a lesson that you can find an answer

So if things don't seem fair
Its not that no one cares
Its that you haven't made a dare​

I'll comment on the third one,then.
Some parts don't rhyme,it makes it hard to read.But otherwise,it's a beautiful poem,I think. :]

Yeah, I thought I would just let the other thread die.

Yeah my third one i didn't like very much. In a way i'm my own worst critic.

Don't get sad, get Glad. lol

Loved the first one. Short, but it says alot.
The second one sounds sciency and almost like a philosophy.
Third one is very true.

All three beith awesome. Keep it up! ^^

So Long...

I think about you everyday
I think about how we used to shout and play
I remember when we were forced to shut the door
And that we sat there, begging for more

But now I look at you in a frame
You look so different, but somehow the same
I can't be away from you much longer
But who knows? Maybe the distance has made us stronger

When we were young we used to play with toys
When we were older, we would talk about boys
If I said I didn't miss you, I lied
Because for many nights, i've cried

Fridays are the worst
Because those were the days i would see you first
It seemed like it would last forever
It seemed like we would always be together

It seems like I was wrong
Because I haven't seen you in oh so long​

Its times like this i wish you were here
So i wouldn't have to shed these tears
I can't remember your face anymore
Which makes me wish the time we spent could've been more.

When I see you again, I know I will cry
Not only because i missed you, but because of your lie
You said 'I'll be back'
But it seems its the truth that you lack

Do you even care?
I think its strange you find this so fair
I remember the days we spent at home
But now I sit there, all alone

I don't know if things will be the same
What would you do if you felt this pain?
Would you forget and forgive?
Would you live and let live?

I wish you never wanted to go
Because now i dont know whether to call you friend or foe​

Yet another poem.

I Am Not Dumb

I may be silly
I may be fun
But I am not stupid
Nor dumb


I am intellectual and smart
Yet you act like i'm torn apart
No one knows me for who i am
And it seems like no one can


It is because you all get confused
You expect one thing, and it gets refused
You expect stupidity
Yet in the end you realize, and feel guilty.


So next time you meet someone new
Don't think intellegence is oh so few
And if you do,
Well, that sucks for you
Because then people will think that of you​

I need you more now than ever
And i'm beggining to think 'either now or never'
I've wanted you all this time
Yet now i don't feel so fine

Your smile is illuminating
Your humor is captivating
Your talent is beautiful
Your kindness is meaningful

I can't help it, i feel like i've known you forever
And living without you is a never
There are some things that time cannot erase
Like the glow of your smiling face

I just want to hold your hand
While knowing that you won't feel bad
When we hug, i never want to let go of the embrace
So that i can always see your smiling face​
