Highly doubtful. But yes, Musashi from Musashi Samurai Legend was a character Nomura designed himself.

Well, there are two different versions. 3 if you include the REAL one.
I am mostly familiar with the PSX version, which was a funny, short, smart mouthed kid which used both Fusion and Lumina, the Sword Of Luminensce, to defeat his foes. He was also a partially skilled fighter, better than most FF characters were when the game starts, but weaker than them when the game ends.

I was just going through Norumas worsk on that site and ran into it, the kid on there looks like a longer haired sora or something, but older.

The hair was good i think but the voice overs really sucked.
and i beat it in about a week to. it was so easy.

the origional was way better.
