Ok, so i wasn't told to do another scene but i wasn't told NOT to do another part so lets get this show moving again with Preview part 2.

Part 2 is going to take place a while after the last part. Chanclet now has a few others in his team against the logo so new name will be popping up. This part consists of Chanclet, Ossel (axe guy in part 1), Jixil and Belltica. Obe is chanclets old friend, Jixil is a merchant girl who is travelling with Chanclet to try and keep control of the Pedestal of power, and Belltica is a weapons dealer who has helped Chanclet and his team from several problems. She deals arms to both warring continents.

The rest of his team has been seperated and are scattered around. You'll meet them in the finished story. This battle takes place in a friends home against a high rank of the logo.

Next post shall contain the first part of Preview part 2.

Chanclet, Ossel and Jixil all stayed low in the house. Chanclet peeked out to see where Vaffin of the logo had gone. He looked slowly from his right to his left. His eyes locked when he saw the huge tower of a man standing at a T junction on the road. Some hooded robe person was talking to him. Chanclet was then shifted over to his left slightly as Jixil squeezed in to his right in an attempt to also peek out to see if she could see the huge beast. Vaffin was still holding the huge hammer he had chased them with and was obviously enquiring into the whereabouts of the crew.
"Where is he?" Ossel whispered impatiently hoping to hear good news from where he hid behind the door.
"Just over there." Jixil breathed out softly, turning to him and pointing in the general direction of where he was.
One of Jixils 3 pigtails hit Chanclet on the back of the head. He remained unmoved by it although he'd unusally be quite annoyed about it. Chanclet wasjust hoping he wouldn't get into an unnecessary fight. Especially in Aerl's home. Chanclet suddenly wore the face of fear when he saw the hooded figure pointing directly at the house. Jixil looked back out to see the that both the figure and Vaffin looked right in the houses direction. Vaffin's eyes widened with the sudden movement at the window and knew exactly who they were. He clutched the monstrous hammer with his 2nd hand and took off towards their location while the figure calmly turned and walked off without any form of extra adrenaline or speed of panic.

Thanx WM. Yea some friends who you'll learn nothing about them except their weapons and fighting abilities. The other MIGHT get shown but its unlikely as i wanna save them for the finished story. Thats one of the reasons i chose this part in particular. The other one i was wavering with is probably a bit more story driven so i chose this one. Still wait til ya see what happens next to them. You might be slightly amused. Then again you might not, but its up to your opinion.

Note: Due to a thing that happened earlier all people now emit a glow of white light. A like Light shield so to speak. People who battle usually have a stronger glow than civilians. This will be taking place during the next post.

Chanclet didn't know whether to keep his eyes on the white hooded figure to find an identity or on the monsterous man about to break down the wooden house to absoulte pieces. Chanclet backed away and grabbed his scythe from the floor.
"Ok everybody lets get ready. Jixil give us a signal. Belltic...."
Chanclet suddenly stopped mid sentence and realised. She wasn't even in here.
"Wheres Belltica?" Chanclet said looking at Ossel.
Ossel just shrugged and hugged his body close to the doors frame. Chanclet did the same on the opposite side of the door. Ossel had the axe ready, not that visible as the only light was coming from a window behind him. The monstrous footsteps were coming ever closer and the three friends breathing was the only thing you could hear and all of it was noticeable as they were anticipating the attack from this monster. Green whisps were being formed in Jixils hand as the mini tremers of Vaffin's heavy built up body approached right outside the door.

Moltick was staring out of the tower window at the evening sunset, when he got a call on the radio. He puck up the large device and asked what the problem was. He heard of Raizerback bein taken down and so he gave the order to send in his backup. He placed the radio back on the small desk and looked back out the window. He had a smirk on his face and felt the confident burst of energy he felt from some of his plans.

(heh yea it can be kinda confusing but thats partially why this preview is being done... fix any problems and catch them out early. Well that and tease a little with the upcoming story, build a little hype and stuff. Anyways next part.)

Vaffin's huge size God-knows-what boot kicked down the door ignoring any form of resistance from the hinges attached to the frame. The wooden door flew across the room and hit the far wall and was clearly out of commission. Vaffin stormed straight into the room only to widen his eyes and get a "present" from Jixil. She jumped out into the open hallway and fired five daggers straight at his face thanks to Jixil compressing wind magic and releasing it in one go. The 5 knives bounced straight of the glow his body was emitting but they did however leave his nose extremely red. Recovering almost instantly Vaffin let out a huge Lion type roar at Jixil, not realising that Ossel and Chanclet were hiding nearby. Jixil was beginning to panic while fumbling around for a few more knives to fire all because of this tremendous roar. Chanclet and Ossel then took this opportunity to both swing at Vaffin's legs. Chanclet and Ossels weapons collided with the white aura of Vaffin's legs and caused him to fall face first to the floor. The impact felt like it had sent a shockwave through the ground, as the wooden home itself seemed to jump of the ground momentarily. Chanclet and Ossel went to strike Vaffin on the ground and got a number of blows on him with their weapons when Vaffins started to rise from the floor again. He was furious and took a mighty swing at Ossel. Ossel was knocked through the wooden wall from the might of the blow as the hammer helped put him through. Chanclet kept on attacking Vaffin while his back was to him, Vaffins attention on causing pain to Ossel. Suddenly without warning the back of the hammer collided with Chanclet's torso.

Outside the battlefield that was the building a woman was looking around the corner intently wondering what the giant was doing to her friends inside. She could hear weapons swooping and then a load roar followed by more weapons colliding. Suddenly out of nowhere a large hole appeared on the wall near the enterance and out of it came the end of a large, yet familiar, hammer but it was who was on the end of it that surprised her.
"Ossel!" she shouted out.
She wanted so badly to go see if he was ok but as long as tall and fearsome was inside she couldn't risk moving. She wouldn't dare risk getting close to him or that huge hammer. Many a man lost his life to that weapon. She looked on with sorrow to see her friend suffering the after effects of this behemoth's power. He was straining to breathe but he was still conscious. Which probably was worse for him. Suddenly with as much warning as the last loud crash a large part of the other side of the door was cracked. Belltica feared the worst for her other friends.

Belltica knows a lot of the situation. She knows Vaffin's rep and she has recently joined with chanclet and his friends. She has journeyed with them a bit so she has gotten to know them a bit. Im tired but i think i'll post up the next part before i hit the hay. Any fav characters yet outta those you've seen so far? the descriptions are really vague as they aren't completely sorted out yet. July has a lot for me to do on this but hopefully it will turn out to be an enjoyable read, although it will probably be quite a long story. Anyways ecpect the next part within about an hour or so.

( Heh well Jixil is the merchant that fired the knives at big bad Vaffin and Belltica is a form of arms dealer (that job is seen in an earlier part of the story) so take your pick WM. :D Both will be major in the main story's flow. I think you mean Jixil, she will remind you of Rikku of FFX a bit so i guess thats why you may like her. Anyways heres the next bit. i think that leaves about 2-3 posts remaining i guess. But don't hold me to that. )

Chanclet was trying with whatever strength was still in his body to breathe after being squashed against the wall by the back of the huge hammer that Vaffin. He wheezed a single breathe and then tried to force the hammers pointed end back out of his stomach. He shoved it out of his body and fell to the floor.
Vaffin was looking at him while all this was happening. He had now changed his angry tone to manaical laughter. He enjoyed giving pain so much, it was a twisted obsession of his. That was the main reason Moltick brought him in. He stood over the useless runt and laughed some more. He puck up the man and laughed in his face. Chanclet reacted to this though, surprising both Jixil who had fired a couple more knives at Vaffin since his entry into the house and Vaffin himself. Vaffin realised that Chanclet was tring to force the point of his scythe to try and get through the glow of light and into his skin to finally cause some damage. AS he was about to pierce the skin of Vaffins chest, Vaffin threw him back into the wall and pulled out the scythe from where it had been left in the glow of his body. Upon removing the sharp scythe and throwing it to the ground Vaffin realised that the useless insect had actually piecred him after all and he was beginning to bleed.
"BASTARD!" Vaffin shouted to the suffering man against the wall.

Jixil fired her last 7 knives and again did nothing but irritate the back of the huge mans bald head. Just as she did he heard him swear and witnessed the single cruelest thing she had ever seen. Vaffin lifted the huge hammer with both hand now and jammed the top of it into Chanclet's torso and knocked him full force out the already weakened wall into the outside. The sickening thud of the blow alone made Jixil's stomach feel weak and queasy. She never felt more pity for a human in her whole entire life. She nearly wanted to cry for him as she figured he had been just killed there and then. She moved to her left and saw in the gap between the huge, heavy breathing figure and the remains of a once intact wall the remains of her companion Chanclet laying face first in the grass outside. He was lying seemingly on a small amount of pink flowers as they were all around that patch he had lay in. Jixil suddenly realised thew danger she was still in and that Vaffin had now had his attention completely upon her.

If theres one thing Vaffin likes to do more than cause pain towards somebody, it was causing pain and misery to a woman!

(Yea hes kinda evil, and i think i'll leave it there for now. Next part tomorrow hopefully. Enjoy WM and whoever else that encounters and reads this.

Heh, luckily u get the gist of how he works then WM. Yes i also know he can be misinterpretted but luckily in this case that is his way of thinking. When i do next chapter i think u might feel a bit of pity for Jixil.... :D just you wait and see! (note that "bit of pity" could be slightly more than a bit)

Vaffin had realised the luck he was in right now. He started to laugh uncontrollably. Jixil was completely alone and definitely outmatched. She had nothing to fire, and he was armed with brawn and a huge axe. Vaffin was now looking straight at the frightened Jixil. Jixil turned and ran into the kitchen of the home. Vaffin walked after her, taking his time as he knew nobody else other than Belltica was with them earlier and she was obviously cowering away somewhere. He slowly pursued after her.

Belltica just saw her friend Chanclet get laid to waste outside the house. She ran up to his body, not caring whether Vaffin saw her or not. She ran straight up to Chanclet and felt his pulse. It was still there unbelievably. She breathed a sigh of relief and saw he was unconscious. She then turned her attention to the holes of the house made from her friend's bodies and the kicked down door. She saw Vaffin walking deeper into the house. Belltica realised that Jixil was in deep trouble. But she just had to check poor Ossel before she tried to lure Vaffin away from Jixil. She got close to him when he whispered really lowly to her. She didn't catch it at 1st and told him to save his breathe. But he bitterly shook his head with what strength he had and whispered again, this time Belltica heard him.
"Save Jixil!"

Jixil was backed in a corner and had all but one weapon left. She never used this before and so needed to make sure it counted. She pulled it off her neck behind her necklace. It seemed to be a metal object. it was shaped like an 8th of a circle. A little button was on it and she pressed it. The part of circle contained the rest of the circle in it. It unfolded into a full circle and Jixil was careful not to touch the edge of it as it was sharper than any normal blade. She looked up to see Vaffin squeeze in the door. Due to his large build he had to break the door frame off just to fit in. He noticed his prey in the corner fumbling round with something. What he didn't know was she was powering up another blast of wind magic. Her intentions were clear. To kill him, or at the very least buy some time to escape unharmed.

Vaffin was looking forward to making her plead for her pathetic and miserable life. He took a thunderous footstep towards her and made the kitchen table move ever so slightly to the left due to the force of his foot hitting the wooden floor. He then realised what she was at. She was powering some wind magic. He couldn't risk letting her fire anything else at her as she may take the opportunity to escape. Plus his head was starting to bruise from the knives earlier. He didn't want to show ANY kind of weakness, especially from a female.

Jixil looked on with shock as a completely unorthodox burst of energy exploded from Vaffin. He must have seen the wind magic. But he shouldn't have noticed the Merchi-Wheel. Vaffin was extremely close when Jixil put both the hand containing the wind and the one containing the Merchi-Wheel together to fire. However something happened that Jixil was going to pay dearly for. His sudden closing in caused Jixil to panic and that along with the usual patterns of mini-earthquakes caused Jixil to fall over. As she fell she lost her accuracy and fired the wheel at Vaffin. Caught completely by surprise Vaffin was struck, just barely, by the blade. It had left a large cut on his forehead. Jixil looked on in complete terror at both her luck and her situation as the blood started to treacle down his face as he looked up on the ceiling above at the dangerous weapon. Jixil knew this was about to be the final nail on her coffin.

(Bit long but i wanted to make up for nothing the past while... enjoy! Was gonna do Raizerback's battle as well but figured best left for the finished story.)

(ok next part, hoping to get this finished by the end of the week)

Belltica ran past the bloody tipped scythe and ruins of door and was now standing in view of Jixil who was still on the floor next to the kitchen table.
"Belltica!" Jixil shouted trying to move around the kitchen table.
At that moment the bleeding man took his hammer and swung it at Jixil horizontially, trying to behead her. If she had not moved her head down to avoided the swing of the huge hammer she would have been stopped in her tracks there and then. She crawled along towards the door when the might hammer was swung straight into the ground immediately in front of her. She jumped back in complete shock of the sudden arrival of her greatest fear right now. Belltica didn't know what to do, she'd never seen Vaffin this angry ever before. She then shouted at him to try and gain his attention. But his head never moved from his blonde prey. He was completely hell bent on making her pay. He scared here back from where she had crawled from. When she hit the wall with her back she knew she was finished.

The irrate man took his hammer in hand and walked over to the trembling coward on the floor. All form of sense lost he took a mighty swing and with a final scream. She was silenced. She was killed instantly between the floor and the huge hammer. He had removed the one who dared kill him single handedly. He breathed heavily and realised his rage still burned. He needed to vent this fury and madness. He then without warning took a massive leg, lift it and stomp down with all his might on the right hand of the girl. The sound of the thud masking out what damage was done.

Belltica couldn't believe her eyes. The sight of her friend was too much to bear. She turned and ran out of the ruined house, tears in her eyes. She didn't do anything to save her, she just shouted and stood in fear. In fear..... She hated herself so much now. For not helping a friend in need. She wouldn't help all beacause she had fear instead of courage. She wouldn't help over a silly promise that was probably going to be broken anyway. She wouldn't help...... her friend. She cried looking back at the ruined house. The place of the last breathes of her friend Jixil.

Vaffin stomped out the kitchen and in his blind rage saw Belltica crying with her back to him. She noticed the footsteps and turned around, red eyed and angry she stared at the one responsible for her friends death. He was too pissed off though to care what she did. He ran up to her with his hammer still in hand. Belltica drew her Nun-chaku, she swore never to use again and readied herself for a fight with a monster with amazing strength. But the thought of her failing to beat him never once entered her mind. She was just as annoyed as he was and both wanted the others blood!
