Basically. They work like the Gravity/Gravira/Graviga spells. Take a certain percentage of the enemies who happen to be hit by it.

Of course, they don't work on bosses.

Gravity deals damage equal to 20% of the health of any enemies it hits. It doesn't work on bosses.
