Checked out vol of the anime and manga. Pretty freaking awesome in *my* opinion. Yours may vary.
Story: Pacifica is the 'Scrapped Princess' who is basically the end of the world in human form. Set in a land of castles and kings, protected by her kickass sword weilding older brother Shannon, and kickass older sister Raquel, they set out to defy the odds that Pacifica isn't the world's destruction before Pacifica's 16th b-day.
