OK, so I'm a bit confused. There was FFVII, the original. Then, what's with "Dirge Of Cerberus" and "Before Crisis"? And now they're making an Advent Children game? Baisically, I'm just asking, what's the difference between these games.

There is no AC game, kid. The new project called Advent Children Complete is the same as the normal DVD AC, but its released on BluRay (better quality) and it has various new scenes in it.
It's not that hard to understand, kid.
Final Fantasy VII (PS1): The main FFVII game. It's the only one worth playing, because it's the original.
Advent Children (DVD): A movie based on the events after FFVII. The story is horrible, but the action is worth a rental.
Dirge of Cerberus (PS2): A Third-Person Shooter with Vincent based on the aftermath of FFVII. Not very good. Worth a rental only if you're desperate
Before Crisis (Mobile): A prequel to FFVII. I don't even think it's out yet, and to me, doesn't even look worth it.
Crisis Core (Mobile): Another prequel. Again, I'm not sure if it's out, but it isn't worth it in my opinion.
Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS3): Now, this is all just a rumor. This game may never come out. Which would be a shame, because I'd rather have a remake than countless spin-offs.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some more, but trust me, all you need to know about them is that they're just spin-offs, and nothing worth your money. The only one I'd recommend is the original Final Fantasy VII for the PS. Then, if you beat that, go ahead and RENT Advent Children. You'll be better off not knowing about the other spin-offs.
