even so, those drives are probably so old you'd have to make your own adapter to hook them up to one of today's PCs. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Well.. if you are talking about the $99 dollar ones Deven found.. no.
They seem to be the same drive as what is on thinkgeeks.. only slightly used.. e.e
The $10-20 drives.. um.. hate to burst the bubbles.. But those are NOT drives..
It's stereo equipment.
Just because it has 'PC' in it, doesn't mean it's a computer part/accessary..
The 'PC' part is part of the label for the cassette deck..
It's not compatible with ANY type of computer..
(Atleast not without special cables and such..)
Another easier thing to do is get a stereo pc cable..
(This is if you happen to own a stereo system with RCA outputs..)
An RCA out is like the ones on your tv.. the red, yellow, and white ones.
Red & white are for left & right audio. Yellow is for video.
You simply plug the red RCA cable into your red output on your stereo system..
Then plug the 'black/white' cable into your other output on your stereo system.
Plug the headphone jack into your computer's 'line-in'.
Select 'line-in' in your recording options.
Then play the song over the stereo & record it into the computer..
Another thing you can do, is plug the RCA cables into your 'inputs' on the stereo system.
Then plug the headphone jack into your computer's 'Line-out' or 'speaker out' plug..
And you can play any songs or music on your computer over your stereo system.. ^.^
Nifty little trick..
