So, a really quick read by that guy that wrote "Of Mice And Men" and "The Grapes Of Wrath".

Really good novella.

I'd recommend to almost anyone.

I remember that book a little bit. We read it in my 9th grade English class. At the time, I really didn't like it to be honest. It did have some interesting twists, like when Keno starts to lose it. Doesn't he beat his wife at some point on the beach?

I've been meaning to get into more of Steinbeck's work.
I enjoyed "Cannery Row", "The Grapes of Wrath", "Of Mice and Men", etc.
Probably going to pick it up over the break if I get a chance.

Yeah, he does. We just read it a few weeks ago in Language Arts.

Nobody else really seemed to like it, but in hindsight it was really enjoyable.
