From the last few seconds of the Jump Festa trailer YX he said something about Sora having others' hearts with in him. It made think that Xehanort knows tha Ven's heart is inside of Sora, but how does he know?
Maybe 'Ansem' or Xemnas saw similarities between Sora and Ven and Xehanort saw those memories and figured it out for himself?

MX noticed that Eraqus was in Terra's heart. That was either because he can see the hearts inside of people, or because he was so much together with Terra's heart. Maybe he saw - or sensed - that Sora had extra hearts inside of him.

Since Vanitas is shown in that scene I assume that unlike Ven, Vanitas is conscious within YX and told him were Ven's heart is.

My theory is that he was somehow in Xehanort's heart.

That's not the final battle. I thought Axel meant the battle with Terranort and Aqua. Vanitas was still in-action and not "killed" in the teaser.

YMX may remember his time as Xemnas and how he saw that Sora's nobody Roxas was an exact duplicate in appearance of Ven.

What makes me confused is how a mere mortal like MX can knows stuff like that? It's not possible for a human to know about things like free your heart and put it into someone, or creating a darkness from a pure heart of light. Things are just too mysterious around him T.T

I don't think that kind of stuff is that far-fetched for MX. He is an old Keyblade master after all who dedicated his life to knowledge.
