Vanitas' Outfit?

I'm probably not the only one that noticed this, but did anyone else notice that Vanitas' outfit is a rendition of Riku's after he accepts the darkness? Maybe there's some kind of connection between Vanitas and Riku...

I think it is probably the first thing people notice when they look at him. There is an obvious connection between Vanitas and Riku.

Yes, Vanitas' form resembles Riku's Dark Mode. It does appear that there is a connection however, it might just be a similarity in the constitutions and alignments of their hearts.

ummmm yeah everyone knows that and thats the first thing you notice when you see him, he even has the same fighting stance so of course he will have a connection to riku

I agree with this, but i think nomura has stated in an interview that the resemblance is no coincidence. I will search for it.
