The sound of hammers hitting the ground rang throughout the day. It was, of course, going to be like that always. At least until the dig was done. We were here searching for some dinosaurs, Harry Glotren, was walking over one of the areas that sonar had shown an anomaly. Harry was thinking of his son, who always had to follow him around…. He may just be a 16 year old, but he’s been around the world following Harry because his mother had died when he was little, and Just Harry was alive to take care of him.
Harry was worried about how his son would transition to a new school. He always seemed to do it easy enough, and always made friends, but he always was a bit cynical, knowing he would eventually leave. Harry thought about how his son always seemed to adjust, but never said anything back, he always came with a smile. But maybe this time will be different, maybe we’ll be here for a while. He thought to himself. As he stepped into one of the deeper parts of the excavation he felt a shaking, and then fell through the ground. He yelled out loudly and hit the ground, his back first then his head, making him black out.
Harry woke up 15 minutes later in near complete darkness. He looked around, but could see nothing, the hole in the ground, or roof, was at least two hundred feet above his head. He grabbed his flashlight on his key chain, a present from his son. He started walking around the cavern, as he turned to one side he saw a glint from his flashlight bounce of something sparkly. He walked closer to it and found a stone, a large stone, with a red and blue pattern on it. He picked it up. It was in the shape of an oval, and looked like some sort of egg, but it was kinda rough.
It felt warm, and it seemed to have an odd beat, but it felt kind of smooth. It was weird, and it had no true way to describe it. Harry looked around, and he had the urge to just bring it to his son. He knew he shouldn’t take anything away from the dig site, but he had the urge to do it… so he hid it in his shirt and waited by the entrance… he knew someone might find it even if he was hiding it. So he just waited under the hole in the roof.
The crew came about half an hour later. When they pulled him up it seemed like no one saw the egg. Harry ordered the rest of the cavern searched and everything brought up and examined. Little did he know, he had made the discovery of the century, and it would forever change the world. He took the dragon egg to his son, Alexander Glotren.
The story: Harry Glotren found a dragon egg in a hole in arizona. He took one home to his son. His son's story is that of another time. There were 20 other eggs deep down in the cave, but what no one knew is that there was a live dragon alive down there. He let the humans take the eggs. He knew it was time for his race to return and to become a race.
The Eggs could only hatch to teenagers. Every egg was different, and eventually you will hear the story that made it so Dragon eggs could only hatch to humans, but for now you don't know why.
So, one day a week after the eggs discovery a gang of kids from the city of Phoenix came in and stole the eggs, but on the way back they were scattered, and they seperated to the whole world. Not everyone who a dragon hatches to is nice, some are evil, some are good. what are you?
Your part of the story: You have just found an egg, and it will hatch to you. You name it and tell your story. No supernatural powers or anything, but as the story moves on and you have your dragon you will gain magic.
This story will start 5 months after your egg hatches. You have named it. It is not full sized, and can't breathe fire, but it can fly with you, and you can use a small amount of Magic, and you are learning more. Will you use it for good? or evil?
