When and how was Days announced?

Does anyone remember when and how Days' American release date was announced? I want to know since Square may do the same thing with BbS.

but days came out in japan a month before e3 2009, not six months

KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 DAYS TO LAUNCH IN NORTH AMERICA ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2009 | SQUARE ENIX it was announced on june 3rd, a couple weeks after the japanese release, and during e3 2009. it was also announced four months before the actual release.

It was announced on December 2nd of 2008? P: Same day that Re: Chain of Memories came out in English. They put a press release on the website, then they put up the placeholder site on the same day. They didn't announce the release date until E3, though.
