It all began with the six apprentices, Xeahnort, Braig, Dilan, Even, Aeleus, and Ienzo, and their studies of the heart. Once Ansem ordered the studies to cease and all records of their discoveries to be destroyed, Xeahnort was outraged. While the other apprentices were not happy with this, they went along with it... until Xeahnort spoke with them.
"That old fool doesn't know what he's talking about!" Xeahnort said to them. "Are you REALLY okay with destroying all our hard work!?"
The apprentices agreed with him. They built an underground lab to continue their studies in secrecy before losing their hearts, and becoming Nobodies.
One Year Earlier
Day 1

Master Ansem told me he recruited 5 scientists to work under him as apprentices. I am actually rather excited about this. I finally have someone I can talk to!
Master Ansem also told me to keep a diary of my thoughts and feelings. He said he would require the new apprentices to do the same. He said no one would check it. That's all for today
