Xemnas is the only one who could lead an organization as well as it went. If Saix was leader, he wouldn't be as good of a planner.

I didn't expect to get this many responses but I do like hear reasons why he shouldn't and should. Keep them coming.
Saix is the type of person that would overthrow a leader. You should make a new poll about that. But seriously he's like what your parents always say a follower and that's what he'll always be. If Xemnas jumped off a bridge to Kingdom Hearts, Saix without hesitation would certainly follow.

I liked Saix, he was probably my favorite Organization member but he could never be leader. He's too unstable. He puts on that calm front but behind it he's f*cking crazy which gives him major points for being the coolest psychotic character ever but it's because of that he couldn't be leader. He also wasn't as smart strategy wise.

Sa'i'x (in my opinion) is the coolest Organization XIII member. He's just like Sephiroth, strong and cool, calm, and collected. That Berserker Hammer is flippin' sweet! And he has the best grave-name thingy The Luna Diviner should be the leader of Organization XIII.
Xehanort discarded his body BEFORE his disciples, not after, to answer Sephy925's question, and also Saix was NOT second in command. He was #7. Xigbar was second in command. Though I definitely think that Nomura should have either switched Xigbar and Saix's ranks, or gave Xigbar a much bigger role in the story. Saix was respected as if he were #2, and he acted as if he were #2, but he was #7. He was Axel's direct superior.
I really think that he shouldn't be the leader Xemnas all the way Xemnas is not a follower.
Sorry to say this but once again the rankings of the Org..are in the order that they join..not strength or who is superior to who...its just the number that they get when they join.....but Saix is seen as Xenmas second in command....in my eyes anyways
