hmm...what game have you been playin i wonder...
the leader is xemnas the nobody of xehanort a.k.a ansem in kh1.
they are formed when a a person becomes a heartless. the emoty vessel they leave behind becomes a nobody. the most poerfullest forms of nobobdies are the org members who retain human appearences.
the first 6 members i think were Ansem the wises apprentices. xemnas formed this new club to ultimately collect enough hearts to open kingdom hearts but then created his own kibgdom hearts. ya da ya da...you know the rest..im sure?

When a Heartless of a person, let's call him A dies. And A's nobody dies after, the Body, Soul and Heart join back together to reborn the person. If A's nobody dies before his Heartless, his chances of rebirth is less. Since Ansem, Seeker of Darkness died and so did Xemnas, Xehanort is mostly likely to appear again. Didn't KH2 talked about this? (The if Nobody and Heartless defeated part)

hmmm, i had to play kindom hearts 2 a few times before i got it completely, but thats just me =.=
Well I had to watch FFAC like 5 times to understand that so no shame A Lonely Rose. Yeah what they all said.

well if you played kh2 then why are you asking this question?
did you skip through the cutscences or somthing?
because in kh1 it was all about the heartless orgization 13 wasnt mentioned yet so you should ahve gotten all your info in kh2

yeah kh1 wasnt bout the org and are you intendin to play kh2 cuz if you are id stay away from a lot of these threads, they may contain spoilers.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa... How did you come up with this...? From what I remember, as long as both the heart and body and soul are in suspension, they would reform into a whole being again...
Eh... Ansem was inside Riku... In KH1, Ansem was sucked into KH with Riku's body and soul, then Riku was able to regain his body from the weakened Ansem... The whole point of Reverse/Rebirth on CoM was for Riku to overpower Ansem, which he eventually did... That's why Riku was able to take Ansem's form in KH2, by tapping into his power... I do, however, believe when DiZ's machine exploded, Ansem was disspelled from Riku's body, which is why he regained his normal body... Also,Riku tried to summon a portal and falled, and then Mickey came over and told him that he no longer belonged to the dark realm, which leads me to believe Ansem was no longer inside Riku and might join back up with Xemnas to become Xehanort again...

VIII. When the heartless are defeated, what becomes of the stolen hearts? Also, when members of Organization XIII and other Nobodies are defeated, do they return to their original form?
When heartless are defeated, essentially the owner's hearts are rejoined with their once extenguished body, whichever world it may be on. As for the whereabouts of hearts in KHII that turn up, this time they remarkably went to the Organization (there is a foot note here that says "In Kingdom Hearts II after heartless were defeated, the many hearts were absorbed by the Kingdom Hearts of "people's hearts"). However, in the rare case that the body changed into a Nobody and when there is no container for the heart, it resorts to a state of suspension.
In the case of a Nobody being defeated, it's a little more complicated. If the above mentioned hearts are liberated, they return to their original form. However, if the heart is still stolen by the heartless, the Nobody's body is swallowed by darkness. If somewhere in the world their hearts are taken back, perhaps they might be able to return to their original human form.
