Unchained X: Castle of Dreams story scenes w/ English Subs

KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained X Japan introduced the Castle of Dreams in its latest update! Thanks to goldpanner, translations and English subtitled videos are now available.

(You and Chirithy arrive in Castle of Dreams.)

Chirithy: Whoa, what a beautiful castle. It doesn't feel all that cheerful though, for some reason.

(You speak up.)

Chirithy: Yeah. The darkness is closing in here too, for sure.

(You raise your Keyblade proudly.)

Chirithy: Looks like you get what your mission is now. I'm so happy.

I think I can sense Heartless. Let's go!

(The two of you head off. As you walk down a road, you come across the Grand Duke, who is faced by a group of Large Bodies.)

Grand Duke: What on earth are these?

There's no way I can fulfil his majesty's orders now.

(You dash through the Large Bodies and take your battle stance in front of the Duke to protect him. He's surprised but regains composure quickly.)

Grand Duke: Oh, are you saying you'll get rid of those monster for me?

(You nod.)

Grand Duke: Hm.

Then, could you do me a favour?

(His request surprises you.)

Grand Duke: Take this letter to the estate just up ahead.

(He shows you a letter.)

Grand Duke: It's an important notice from his majesty the king. I beg you.

(You take the letter.)

Grand Duke: Sigh. Can't dawdle...

I have to make it all around the land before nightfall.

(The Duke leaves.)

 

(You arrive at the house the Duke mentioned. You raise your Keyblade and start charging a beam to open the lock when Chirithy stops you.)

Chirithy: Argh!

Put that away, they'll open up if you just knock like a normal person!

(You dismiss your Keyblade and knock on the door. A voice answers.)

???: Come in.

(The door opens and you enter the house. Cinderella greets you, and you hand over the letter.)

Cinderella: Oh, what an adorable courier.

Thank you for coming all this way.

(Cinderella reads the letter and is shocked.)

Cinderella: Oh dear! This is the royal seal. I'd better hurry and tell her.

(She thanks you for delivering the letter.)

Cinderella: Thank you.

(You leave the house. As you exit, you see a small mouse in red clothes being chased by Shadows. You jump in to protect it.)

 

(You defeat the Shadows and the mouse returns to thank you.)

???: Thanks!

(He starts to walk away but stops and turns to you.)

???: Wait.

You can understand me, can't you?

(You nod.)

???: Huh, I had no idea there were humans other than Cinderella who could talk with us.

I'm Jaq, nice to meet you.

(You ask about Cinderella.)

Jaq: Yeah, Cinderella is a friend to us mice. She's kind, a real nice person.

I know! I'll introduce you. Come with me!

(You follow Jaq back into the house.)

(You and Jaq head into Cinderella's room and see her gazing longingly at her mother's dress.)

Cinderella: They're having a ball at the castle. The king has ordered all young women of age to attend. If I get a dress ready, I can go.

(You and Jaq approach her.)

Cinderella: Oh? You're back, Jaq.

And you're the courier from before.

(You wave awkwardly.)

Jaq: No, Cinderella. This is a friend of mine.

Cinderella: So you're a friend of Jaq's, then. Treat him well, okay?

(She walks over to you and introduces herself.)

Cinderella: I'm Cinderella. Nice to meet you.

(Suddenly, you hear loud voices calling for out.)

???x3: Cinderella!

(Cinderella tiredly responds.)

Cinderella: Yes, I hear you. I'm coming.

(She smiles and leaves the room.)

Jaq: Poor thing, that Cinderella... There's no way she'll be able to go to the ball.

(You ask why.)

Jaq: Lady Tremaine said she'd only take her if she got a dress ready. Now she's piling work on her, making sure she can't finish on purpose.

 

[faemarch]

(You arrive at the house the Duke mentioned. You raise your Keyblade and start charging a beam to open the lock when Chirithy stops you.)

Chirithy: Argh!
Put that away, they'll open up if you just knock like a normal person!

(You dismiss your Keyblade and knock on the door. A voice answers.)

This has to be my favorite part here, I guess the Player's never done a whole lot of door-to-door interacting in Daybreak Town.
It's funnier when you think about moments like this

This looks really interesting and I can't wait until we get to play this world. Shame it probably won't be until next year at this rate. I'm glad we have people that manage to record and caption the JPN cutscenes though. Thanks to any and all that worked on this. Much appreciated :smile:

Everyone says that the Player is awkward...I completely agree, they have two awkward moments.

When almost breaking into a house, and when they wave. I take it the Player doesn't have much social interaction outside of the Party, Ephemera, Skuld, Chirithy, and sometimes the Foretellers.

But only OUR PLAYER would try to break into someones house...Well, they are illusions so it doesn't really matter.

(Wait, is the Player planning on making the dress? I mean, they probably can't do that type of stuff! But then again those Ghost Halloween Costumes seem to be made by him/her)

Well, Aqua did want to storm in with Keyblade drawn and was stopped by the Fairy Godmother in BBS.
Chirithy now stopping the Player is thus a nice throwback to that. xD
