1/27 Unchained χ JP Update: Proud Mode, Premium Draw, High Score

KINGDOM HEARTS Unchained X adds a new Keyblade,

As of 1/26 at 15:00 JST, 25 more Proud Mode quests have been added, bringing with it the Darkgnaw Keyblade. Complete the quests to obtain Dark Matter, which can be used to upgrade this Keyblade.

The Proud Mode Clear Campaign is also held from 1/27~2/1! Complete as many Proud quests as you can to get Broom Servant and Mickey & Broom Servants medals!

Premium Draw from 1/27~2/3 features Key Art #8, which is guaranteed within 5 draws, is capable of 80~150% Guilt and comes with 3 ability slots filled. When viewed, it can display the complete package artwork for KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue!

Key Art #8's ability is called Blaze Impact, which costs 3 SP. It increases Magic Attack by 2 and decrease enemy Magic Defense by 2 for 1 turn, inflicting 8 hits on all targets that deal more damage when placed earlier in the deck. 

Each 10 medal Premium Draw guarantees 1 of the following returning Premiums, 10 VIP coins and a bonus Cid5.

Ursula HD Ver [1 target | 3 SP cost] Increases Magic Attack by 3 for 1 turn, inflicts 5 ultra-high power hits
Sora HT Illustration Ver [All targets | 3 SP cost] - 7 ultra-high power attacks
Roxas Plain Clothes Ver [All targets | 2 SP cost] Decreases Enemy Defense by 2 for 1 turn, 13 hits
Axel HD Ver [All targets | 2 SP cost] Decreases enemy defense by 1 for 1 turn and inflicts 13 hits that deal more damage the more SP you have
Ansem Illustration Ver [1 target | 2 SP cost] - Decreases Enemy Defense by 1 for 1 turn, sacrifice HP to deal 13 hits
Aqua Illustration Ver [1 target | 3 SP cost] Decreases Magic Defense by 1 for 1 turn, 4 ultra-high power hits

A new High Score Event will be held from 1/27~2/2, offering Sora SP Ver and Donald & Goofy SP Ver medals! 

Sora SP Ver [1 target | 2 SP cost] Decreases Enemy Defense by 2 for 1 turn, inflicts 8 hits that deal more damage if placed in the 4th slot of the deck
Donald & Goofy SP Ver [Random Target(s) | 3 SP cost] Inflicts 6 ultra-high powered attacks

Methinks JP just got the Speed version of Meowjesty. Rather sad it's attached to a HSC, as that means it'll be a HSC reward here as well. Dang.

Key Art 8 looks really nice, not a bad ability either. Great for Three Wishes for sure.

Darkgnaw huh? So we're getting one of Terra's keyblades, and a Darkness themed one at that... Would be cool if it was basically Reversed Fenrir, with 4 Reversed slots and 1 upright. Would make a nice contrast.

I think Darkgnaw was already a questionable Keyblade, at least design-wise, with Chaos Ripper fitting the theme a lot better. It's just boring to look at.

The evolution in Unchained didn't make this better though:

Wow, what do you know? I guessed right. That's pretty cool. Though it only having 9 SP gauges at Lv20 hurts its overall useability. I like how the 3rd version looks though, that's a good looking upgrade.

there i was thinking how good the multiplier is n rushed to get it to +20, yet the ap gauge stayed at 9 n i had to go out flip a table... sad...
