6/19: Union χ JP Update: Sora PL Illust Ver, Jewel Sorceress, Lux Ranking CP

This week in KINGDOM HEARTS Union X Japan, a new Premium Quest offering an exclusive medal is available and the Jewel Sorceress returns with many Lux Ranking rewards!

Players who purchase the Premium jewel pack from 6/19~6/25 will get access to a new quest offering Sora PL Illustration Ver! Complete all 7 quests to get 7 of these medals along with 1400 jewels.

Sora PL Illustration Ver [All targets | 0 SP cost | 100~180% Guilt] Increases Attack by 3 and Power-Speed-Magic Attack by 3 for 1 turn, recovers 4 SP

This medal has 3 slots for awakening abilities.

The Jewel Sorceress returns in a new Raid Event held from 6/19~6/25! Defeat it to obtain coins and exchange for rewards like the Tarutaru Earrings, which grant Skill Luck+3.

3 Eggs will guarantee the appearance of the Jewel Sorceress! Players have 3 hours to take it down, and each time will raise its level by 1.

Bonus Time is held from 12:00~12:59 and 22:00~22:59 JST, during which 2 eggs will guarantee the boss, each defeat raises its level by 5, Lux doubles, and AP cost is halved.

From 6/19~6/25, try your best to earn as much Lux for your Union as possible! All players will receive jewels based on how well the Ursus Union performs!

Ursus' Ranking	Reward
1st Place	5000 jewels
2nd Place	3000 jewels
3rd Place	2000 jewels
4th Place	1000 jewels
5th Place	500 jewels

Players must participate in the rankings in order to receive the prize. If you have a grand total of 0 Lux at the end of the week, you will not receive the jewel reward, which will be distributed on 6/27 at 15:00 JST.

However, the main theme of this ranking is Ursus! Week after week, this particular Union has placed at the very bottom of the rankings with a pitiful amount of Lux. But maybe this time will be different!

As an added bonus, all Ursus parties that earn more than 1 billion Lux will be rewarded with the [Ursus Hero] title.

Keep in mind that your Lux will be reset if you decide to switch Unions in order to get the title, so time your transfer wisely!

Genius move Square Enix. Now we won't have a severe inequality of Union power if Ursus and Anguis have these kind of campaigns. It also helps that Aced as a character is more defined, thus further justifying the Union transfer.

Well. That's a thing. There's Gameplay/Story dissonance, and then there's completely breaking the connection. With 5000 Jewels for everyone up for grabs, the big parties will flock to Ursus left and right to ensure snagging that prize. Since I don't play the JP version (and SENA's bs has been worse) it shouldn't bother me as much as it does. It makes sense gameplay-wise, that I have no issues with. But story-wise it creates this mass disconnect for me given the existence of the Unions in the first place. Maybe it's the fact that NA hasn't reached the point in the story where the Unions matter less that has this bother me so much, so I'm likely blowing it out of proportion. I just can't shake it yet, is all.

On the bright side, it would be nice if they did this for every Union and brought it over to our side. Would love the chance to snag an "Anguis Hero" Title.

Damn, that Lion Sora. That is a damn good Medal right there. I think Ill B&B is its only VIP competition due to Dispel, but it's definitely stronger than iVivi, which NA should be getting next if the pattern holds (unless they spring Ill Santa Sora on us, but that means apx another month to wait). Really looking forward to that one.

Damn, that Lion Sora medal is amazingly powerful and adorable to boot. I'll throw all the money at this once it comes to NAUX.
