Today is the fifth day of our 12 days of giveaways here at KHInsider! Yesterday Kaitlyn L on Facebook won a copy of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Remix. 

Today's prize is a double wammy. First we're giving away the Avatar Sora Plush Keychain to one lucky forum user.

 

This plush keychain features Sora stylized as an avatar from the gone but not forgotten Kingdom Hearts Mobile. He's about four inches and super soft!  

BUT that's not all! 

Three lucky forum users will be able to complete their Light and Dark Award Collection, featuring the 7 Princesses of Heart and the members of Organization XIII.

Well anyways... for the contest.

No matter how many friends I made over my 28 years of life in this world.... I was never able to "feel" their presence with me. It would always feel like I was in a dream, the longer I've lived, the more disconnected I've felt from this world... like I'm not even here, like whatever I do doesn't matter. I'd always feel alone, no matter what. Regardless of these feelings though... I still desperately yearn for that day, when I can meet my online friends, those whom have accepted me despite me being transgender and autistic, whom see me for whom I really am, the me behind the screen, behind my body. I don't know if I'll ever feel anything with them, but my heart aches to be with them, and to cosplay and truly be there for one another.

It's what has kept me alive during these times when I just wanted to give up and die, that sliver of hope that I could find happiness with my online friends someday... in that regard, my friends aren't just my power, they're my hope I need to get through the deepest darkness... and into the light with them.

We're not supposed to endure life alone. We're here to help one another. Our friends, our loved ones are the source that keep us going, inspiring us to live our truth and shouldering our burdens when we are discouraged. They're the people we want to make the world a better place for, whether they're our childhood neighbors or unmet kindred spirits on our favorite message boards or even the people we miss, distanced by circumstance but not forgotten. The friendships I've made were fuel for better days, and, in turn, I hope I've inspired my friends to live courageously too.
