The Final Fantasy Record Keeper deal is pure and utter trash. These should have been event medals. It's even more insulting since the Japanese version have a Final Fantasy medal deal as a free daily pull and their FFRK deal lets you have one free pull.

The challenge event is disappointing as well. I was hoping for a bit more of a challenge from Gilgamesh and Kefka, but 20 quests just to complete it is just a drain.

And still being negative, I did four pulls on that Aqua banner at got three Zexion HD's. It'd have been nice if I hadn't already pulled him enough to guilt him to max and roll Extra Attack on him. Thankfully the 1000 jewels from the FFRK event will let me do another pull on Aqua, but if it's another Zexion then I think I'm going to scream.

Yeah, not pulling on the Record Keeper deal. While we will more than likely never see the medals again, all of them are single target and it's a 10 pack with one guaranteed medal. And as expected, the draw odds are just bonkers. Really hope that WoL Pixel Medal is easy to get, otherwise I'm not gonna have anything medal-wise from this event. I will have Avatar Boards though, once Dragoon and Red Mage show up.

20 battle challenge was easy. Kind of a slog though...they could've condensed it. 10 missions would be fine IMO. UC was nifty. I got placed with a pod of whales so Gilgamesh got beat down hard. Had to use normal attack fast just to see his attack animation, it's pretty funny and worth seeing once. Kefka in the challenge never got to attack, so not sure what his looks like aside from that screenshot we got. Hope the morning brings interesting things.

Wow, Collab is here. Let's see ... of course those medals are limited because the game desperately needs more limited medals. One is completely broken (as usual), replacing two EXes (Aqua and the upcoming Riku) at the same time while featuring the highest multiplier in the game yet. Being super rare of course while the rest of the banner doesn't even try to look good. Not even falling price for this shit. And the banner will never be reprinted, that's a given.
I haven't finished the gauntlet yet due to utter boredom, letting us run through random Disney worlds with an enemy here and there for mostly shitty Cid and Moogle rewards is not exactly what I consider a "FFRC collab event". Oh, wait, there's an unusual enemy mashed in there, so that justifies the name. Cool. Haven't tried UC yet but don't expect much on that side. The Final Fantasy booster is a nice touch, but pretty much useless.

Plus, as usual, we're totally getting screwed over in comparison to JP, so yeah, thank you for that beautiful collab event, Sena.

EDIT: Wait, Terra is single target? Her effect doesn't make much sense then, oh boy ...

This event made me wish I never started playing and investing so much time into the NA version of the game lol. I logged in on my JP account and it feels way more like an event there than what we got? I'm defending them lately because I could see they are trying to make an effort and fix the game but they are really bad at making events (especially making FUN events?) I really don't get how a moba connected to KH (a popular game with a fandom that loves it and gladly goes back to it years later) can be this bad? Do people who work for it actually enjoy/like KH... or even try to play their own game?

edit: we got the gummi ship stuff too but I would've liked some free daily pulls on the banners too, since it overlaps with TAV the timing is not the best to not give us a free daily pull too imo

I.. don't think I can drag myself through JP on F2P account, it being -so-competitive and having missed out on two years worth of content. I've spent too much money on the NA account (haven't for a long time, however) to turn back. Tbh, though, I'm kindof ready for this game to die, so I can move on with my life LOL

That being said, I'm ambivalent about this update EXCEPT for being able to fight Gilga/Kefka Heartless. That's rad.

That being said, I'm ambivalent about this update EXCEPT for being able to fight Gilga/Kefka Heartless. That's rad.

I could play more on my jp account but I feel like I don't have the time nor energy to run two accounts, and I like my NA one but the way the game gets handled is just sad.

I'm 99% of the time f2p, I just bought VIP once when it was like 75% off (it only happened once tho). I have some great medals on my NA account and I have fun when there is content but SENA gives me the strongest "money hungry" vibes when it comes to moba games. I would be sad if khux died at some point because it's the only moba I truly enjoy and it's KH but the lack of content, the way they handle stuff and seem not to care much? often bugs me. This game heavily relies on people pulling for medals but then there is barely content to use them for? If you want to save up for a mercy you need to save 1-2 months at least and once you get the medals you want, you have coli to use them for I guess? And the rest is done in a day. Most of the time I just run the raid boss quests or if we have no raid boss banner I just run quest 660 til I have my dailies and I feel like that's just... sad?
I wonder if they actually try out the app they run because you can easily finish things within a day, especially once you finished story mode and proud mode. Even for VIPs the content seems lacking and I just don't understand why the game is like that tbh. If playing felt more rewarding I'm sure more people would be into it? But most of us just run things on auto. Coli rewards aren't the best either because it just means you get skills before others or get them for free *if* you have the right medals and as a f2p it relies mostly on your luck again.

I didn’t read the Aqua deal properly so I didn’t realise there were four guaranteed medals which explains why I kept getting Zexions lol.

But this time I got another Vanitas HD and rolled EA on it so I’ve freed up a spot on Fairy Stars for Ira to actually do damage!
