Okay... Firstly, the trailer was great and showed a lot of cool and interesting things regarding the story but...

I’m seriously disappointed about the lack of Disney worlds, one more for have sufficed. Even if they didn’t add in another world they chose to include Winnie The Pooh again over Atlantis, Princess and the Frog, The Jungle Book, Treasure Planet, A Bug’s Life, Brave, Star Wars and Marvel (although the latter two had pretty much no chance of being included). The decision making is baffling.

I may sound dramatic in saying this and may get hate directed my way but my hype is seriously killed by this. The wait has been incredibly long and this is the final game in the saga, so you’d hope it’d go out with a bang but the world selection is just... I... It’s... It’s lacklustre.

Fantastic trailer. Really amazing stuff, still no word from Nomura on whether there's more Disney Worlds left to be revealed. While I'm starting to doubt myself there's still something they can announce in the final weeks in a final trailer.

Until Nomura comes out in an interview or statement and says it I will continue to believe. Unless he could keep a world secret until launch which would be cool, but they said we'd know all the Disney Worlds in the game before Jan 25th(the Japanese release).

They didn't show off FF characters either. Could be saved up for another trailer in early January.

I'm not watching it but we still haven't seen anything on the other poh right? I haven't seen anyone mention this.

The most striking element of the trailer to me is the Riku versus Riku battle. Looks to me that Replica Riku may be the Darkness of San Fransokyo and not Data Riku. After all, Data Riku was never in control of the Bug Blox to begin with.

I am gonna highlight some key bits here:

1) The reason I am personally annoyed about the lack of Disney Worlds is Nomura should have confirmed that there were no more DW after Pooh if that was the case, it set people up to hype over one or two more worlds that have turned out not to be true. I'm fine with 7 main worlds and Pooh BUT he should have stated that...

2) I am a tiny bit salty Radiant Garden isn't in the game :(

3) Xion's returning!

4) WE SAW SAIX!

5) DEMYX!!!!!! Who else noticed Demyx on one of the pillars????

6) Cable Town is AMAZING and at last we get confirmation that we CAN play there - I mean, why else would Sora be in that world?

7) I have to say... I know this trailer was called "The Final Battle" but I still could envision a "Launch Trailer" or something similar in January... This trailer did seem a bit rushed in the editing and it makes me wonder what didn't make the cut.

I guess Princess and the Frog is dead BUT I still have a slight twinge of hope cos Nomura hasn't said "that's all folks" and I think it would be stupid business wise not to.

Holy heck. They really saved the best for last with these trailers. I was legit tearing up by the end. That end scene in particular. Also great to know we will be able to actually play through at least some of Riku's part of the story as well.

Very spoiler heavy this new trailer. It seems that all of Sora's friends (including Mickey, Donald and Goofy) seem to die at the end. I'm pretty sure that the Cartoon characters will be okay in the end. Disney would never kill them off. Kairi will be likely also okay. Not sure with Axel and Riku, maybe, maybe not. Hard to say.

I have to say - the possibilities for DLC at this point are amazing and varied...

We could play:

- Aqua's Storyline

- Xion's Storyline

- Visit Radiant Garden, Disney Castle and Destiny Islands (if not included in main game)

- Kairi's Storyline

I'd be SHOCKED if Square don't try and capitalise on all the avenues that Nomura has awoken in this franchise through DLC like how they did with FFXV.

I think it’s cool that Donald and Goofy were riding Maximus with Flynn, but no Sora. So there will be times they gang gets split up, which I think is really cool.

Those black chains look like the ones Eraqus uses, only in a dark version. Interesting...

Oh, and on Riku being playable: Nice I guess, but nothing groundbreaking since we already had it twice.

And these floating guys in robes at the end with the weird masks/helmets? They look like a mixture of the Darklings from Ux and the Rhun Soldiers from Lord of the Rings.

This trailer was quite hype. Glad to see Riku as the second playable character, and the new world looks great.

Looks like we are not getting any more Disney worlds, then. Somewhat disappointing, but at least all the worlds we got are great.

Despite me moaning about Disney worlds, this trailer was amazing. I'm most looking forward to that final world where Master Xehanort was talking to Sora. In Scala ad Caelum!

We cannot be done with Disney Worlds - someone explain it to me logically cos I'm going crazy here!

Look, we have that mystery figure who Saix is talking to, Saix himself and Demyx (who appeared in the opening) with his sitar.

That's three organisation members without assigned worlds - we know so far there's been a member of the Org per world with Xemnas, Ansem, Xehanort and the mystery figure (the 13th member) NOT having worlds of their own.

So Saix and Demyx still need worlds to be in.

Cool trailer, but I really don't like how the princess worlds reference scenes from the film shot by shot. Sure this nothing new, but I never was a fan of the old games replicating the same scenes from their films. Like Let It Go & even the confrontation of Gothel. What!

Was watching the trailer again and decided to hazard a guess on whom Saix "invited back into their ranks to deliver the final vessel." The way he spoke seems to indicate it was a member of the old Organisation. As the seems shorter than Saix (though it might be due to perspective), it could be Roxas or Xion. Xion wore pointed heels and this person doesn't seem to wear it... so could it possibly be Roxas?

Also really digging the way Young Xehanort said "there's no saving you" to Sora. So condescending, so smug, one could imagine it was said with a smirk on the face.

And also, it seems that poor Sora will be subjected to a massive mind game, based on what Riku said to him. Wonder what kind of minddiddlyery breaks him like that. :/

I'm going to be honest and say this constant blabbering about more/new Disney worlds is starting to get on my nerves. The trailer isn't about that.

It might actually be that case, they all have the double-belt that even No-Heart has.

Also Cable Town is easily the most beautiful world I've seen so far in the entire series.

Does anybody have a guess on who is the new Master Xehanort voice actor now? I'm rather sure we can remove Mark Hamill from the list now, because it doesn't sound like him at all, judging by what we heard of the voice in this trailer.

This trailer was fantastic. A lot to talk about, but it actually broke my heart to see kairi and axel talking and her saying "dont hold back axel, promise". Jeez kairi, hasnt axel been through enough?

This trailer left me with mixed feelings.

- Riku is confirmed to be playable and we finally heard David Gallagher like I wanted.
- It has great length.
- Master Xehanort has a good voice, but it's no better than the previous one.
- Everything looks incredible, including the new World, but still no confirmation of any more Disney Worlds left. I don't know how to digest this...

Anyway, the fact that the trailer was released sooner was a good surprise. Love you, Nomura!

Omg so many emotions!!!!! Seeing Donald collapse was heart wrenching.

But ugh, Alyson Stoner is just terrible. I will never get over that.

...I actually feel tore up right now. Something about this trailer genuinely makes my anxiety go out of control, and it sucks. I really want to enjoy it, but something about showing the amount they did before cutting it off so abruptly (especially after that Riku scene) managed to hit a soft spot for me (like if I don't see the ending soon, I might actually have panic attack). No fault against them, just more of a personal reaction. Anyone else get a bit of a fight or flight kind of response? Or was that just me?

It is kinda strange, that Naminé hasn't showed up in any of the promotional artworks, renders, screenshots or trailers, even thought she is on the official box art of the game.

Maybe she will play a really big role in the story... maybe... I don't know.

I’m so impressed by everything they’ve put into this game. It was fun discussing what might appear since everything was still up in the air, but from this trailer, it looks like they have done an excellent job of crafting a complete experience where none of the worlds will feel forced in or unimportant to the experience.

I'm still sad that square/nomura are ignoring kairi's existence, like damn i wanted her to be playable so bad, i'm hoping they're hiding it and it's not only riku.

man they better make kairi playable it's the final arc she's a main character nomura isn't as bright as I thought like really? she's part of the trio and even aqua a girl was playable so what's his excuse with kairi.

God forbid some things be saved for the game itself.

Let it be known, you're allowed to notice something missing from the trailers and even be sad about it: it's the acting like you were OWED such things from Square and/or complaining that this absence proves, well, ANYTHING regarding said element in the final product that can get tiresome after a while.

I feel like everyone's bantering over the next Disney world and Kairi not getting any gameplay makes me realize that we don't have a confirmed length of the game do we? Cause all of this makes me think that half of this community believes KH3 will be the same length as Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance, because they're so used to how short Kingdom Hearts games are.

What is Ansem the SoD talking about the sacrifice of children when he is talking with Ansem the Wise?

So, to shuffle stuff up a little I screenshotted a few parts of the trailer, some to just focus on a few of the characters in the stunning visuals and some for little observation trinkets I personally find interesting.

Most notably is that he isn't wearing the black coat in this instance here (which is were current Riku fights norted Data/Replica-Riku).

Ansem the Wise:

I wonder what he's up to, going from what he's saying he's still trying to atone for what he did yet seems to be somehow fearing he'd be forced to "create more victims" and since he's talking with Ansem SoD out of all people we might just get some more insight on their shared past with the experiments.

Next down are Lea and Kairi (who's still wearing her old outfit):

I might just have found a reference to Naminé as the thing lying on that tree trunk besides Kairi looks like a drawing pad with a silver/grey pencil on it.

This is obviously a dark version of Toybox:

Interestingly Young Xehanort seems to wield the same Keyblade here as he did in DDD.

Now this is probably going to get rile ups:

Is that Xion? Or Roxas? Both is possible and Xemnas standing there only reinforces the imagery.
The relief in the background also seems to be a double wave pattern, almost like with Invi's Keyblade or Aqua's Brightcrest.

Also Xemnas seems to repeat his final Laser attack dome from KH II here, just without the Zebra coat and since Lea seems to be paralyzed, he can't deflect it like Sora and Riku did.

As I said before these look very much like the chains Eraqus (as well as Terra and Aqua to a lesser degree) use in some techniques, only in darkness purple rather than light golden.
Maybe they're facing a dark Eraqus or Terra-Xehanort?

Now this one got my gears rattling:

It is the norted Dark Riku (Data or Replica) turning into this thing yet I'm not sure what it is supposed to be?
A Darkside? The dark Guardian? Or a dark representation of Master Xehanort symbolizing the "nort heart piece" present in all norts which is controlling them?

Also unless I missed something there were no FF characters in the trailer.

You know....I genuinely liked Alison Stoner as Kairi in previous trailers and games but man did they drop the ball in this one. Towards the end of the trailer, her voice got annoying. I’m trying to stay positive and hopefully it was some bad lines.

Everyone is dead.

This trailer was a lot to take in. The top of Scala ad Caelum reminds me very much of Land of Departure. My theory that LoD had a form before it could wind up being true.

Riku being playable doesn't surprise me, but I hope this doesn't mean he's the only one since Nomura said something once about the other character being spoilery, and there's nothing spoilery about Riku.

Something something other stuff. I'm gonna need to watch this a million times to take everything in.

I feel like those Keyblade graveyard scenes are rife for Lingering Will to come save the day. Also were those the lost masters with Xehanort at the end?

It's a shame we saw no new Disney worlds but at this point I don't think we have any more. Still this trailer is great and actually provides more questions than answers as a trailer should. Roll on next month.

Scala ad Caleum being the name of the final world makes me wonder if that was a reference to Noctis? There are some parallels between his final battle and Sora's based on the image.

The only way i'll be disappointed from this game if it won't make cry, but this trailer alone made me cry so should be fine.

Well, I won't voice my Kairi thoughts since everyone else has already echoed them, but I will say that if she's not playable, I'd still like her to get her own game after this.

At any rate Riku being the second playable character isn't exactly surprising, and I don't think warranted such a long tease to be revealed.

So is Sora going to do a duet with Elsa during Let it Go? Cause if so that would be worth the song being in the game, lol

Also I still don't think Sora was a placeholder to hide Riku. His gameplay probably happens early in the game while Sora confronting Aqua happens later.

This looked cool. It will be funny/silly if once again Sora has to go find/save Kairi in another game.

So, some commentary on Scala ad Caelum real quick here.

First off, it's really curious that they chose that pronunciation. That's the Classical/Roman pronunciation, whereas most Latin used in KH, FF, etc. uses either the Anglicized or Ecclesiastical pronunciations. If one of the latter were used, I would expect "Caelum" to be pronounced as either "see-lum", "say-lum", or "chay-lum" (or perhaps more accurately replace any "lum" with "loom"...regardless).

I'm surprised about the translation of this trailer.

For those who are curious about the difference between the japanese version and the english version there are only two parts that are a bit different

In the Bible, there is also the concept of Jacob’s Ladder, which is a ladder to heaven. So it could be pulling from both that concept and the Tower of Babel.

Am I the only one who thinks Zexion is the hooded figure that Siax was speaking to? It would make sense due to how it looks like he's helping sora but a trailer showed him with some Org members. And one of the scenes in the trailer looked like his magic/power.

Interesting how Xehanort mentions being one with his other incarnations in the english version and the japanese just says being gathered. Totally different things.

The wall behing Xehanort at Scalla ad Caelum looks similar to the wall of the ruins where Xion or Roxas points the keyblade at Lea. Maybe the ruins were restored and Scala is in fact the final world

This trailer was intense, probably the best one we've had. Really looking forward to the Keyblade Graveyard segment and I hope it happens around mid-game because it'd be interesting to see how everything plays out from there, but we'll see.
The only thing I didn't like was the cringeworthy Latin pronunciation but oh well.

I could be totally wrong with this, but didnt Nomura say they wouldnt reveal the final world before the game launches? Also, there isnt really anything about Scala at Caelum that suggests it's been something Nomura has wanted to do since his FF days (tho we still don't know exactly what this means).

If so, I have a feeling that they Keyblade graveyard might be the midpoint of the game, and we might explore more original worlds in the 2nd half of the game.

First half of the game: gathering the lights and darkness
Midpoint: keyblade graveyard, a bunch of Sor's companions ""die"""
Second half of the game: journeying as Sora to defeat xehanort and get everybody back.

I think I'm going to really dislike this game.

Honestly I don't think Sora and Riku will be the only playable characters, but we'll see.

Speaking about Riku's part, seems like it takes place after everyone except Sora is engulfed by Darkness. He already has his new keyblade, a long health bar and he's not with Mickey. I wonder if we'll have to find the rest of the team with him?!

I know I probably sound like a broken record and I know a lot of people say this but... really? Riku's playable again? Considering Nomura said that the other playable character is a huge spoiler, I'm just disappointed. It's not that I won't enjoy playing as him -- I probably will -- but this would've been a really good opportunity to make Kairi shine. Oh well!

Other than that, I enjoyed the trailer. I'm seriously hyped for this game again and I just want to play it already!

Aqua as a second playable character would have been redundant as well because we had 0.2. And Kairi... did you really think they would give her time to shine? It would be great, (and kinda necessary for such an underdeveloped character) but this was predictable.

Only thing I got out of this is thankfully Riku is the playable character and not Kairi, Young Xehanort, Lea, etc. Unfortunately, the Disney worlds seem to be following KH2’s whole redo-the-scene-entirely method. I’d already noticed that with Frozen in the past and I thought maybe they were told to be extra careful with that film because Disney’s touchy with it, but even several scenes for the Tangled world look almost shot-for-shot the same. Oy.

So if this trailer is anything to go by, the vine on Destiny's Embrace is still all dead-looking and not green and that was just maybe weird lighting in the opening and I'm sad.

It's also canon that the cards his Nobodies wield have Marluxia and Larxene's face on them so if it had been Roxas's symbol, it's not out of the ordinary.

Remember when these two had positive attitudes only to lose everything they held dear?

Not impressed. Some old faces (read: obvious fanservice I was seeing from miles away), some drama delivered in an extremely cliche'd way, fake danger (Kairi getting "engulfed" in Heartlesses) and screaming for cheap "goosebumps effect". I hope the game itself will be more than just cliche on a cliche that this trailer was and recycling stuff overall. But my doubts are winning for now.

How long do you think this game is people? I just want to know now. How long do you ACTUALLY think the game will be? Is there a confirmed length or do you believe this game will be the same length as Birth by Sleep-Dream Drop Distance?

I don't expect it to be 200+ hours or anything, but it will be longer than BBS and 3D. Because the worlds of BBS were small and short and the worlds of 3D were just a few and big but empty. I'm sure that KH3 will be better than that.

Also one thing that really surprised me about this trailer was showing the Davy Jones boss fight, I thought that all of the final boss of worlds were being kept a secret? o_O... Also that Tangled boss looked like the final boss of the world as well. For some reason I've got a feeling that it'll be protecting the tower while Rapunzel and Flynn dealing with Mother Gothel (like what happened in the film) as they both aren't party members during this section.

I'm quite pleased. The only thing more I might've asked for would be English lines from Marluxia and Vexen, just because I want their VA returns to be confirmed already. I'm interested in SaC, and a few of my questions in regards to seekers seem to be answered. Just gonna be hard waiting for the game now!

I’m confused as to why everyone is assuming we are being kept in the dark. They told you when the trailers would come, and they came. I’m not sure why everyone thinks they’re owed x, y, or z in a trailer. Thiese are expectations that have been inferred from group discussions on forums rather than promises square has made. The same people who said they won’t show another world at this point are the same people who were certain the PS4 pro was cancelled for the rest of the world outside of japan.

My advice that everyone is free to take or leave is relax and try to enjoy the ride. You never know what surprises are left for us.

For me Scala ad Caelum doesn't feel like the final world. It can be the world where Sora meets Chirithy and learns how to awake lost hearts, but it doesn't seem like a place for the final battle against Master Xehanort.

Man, that trailer was so hype! What a treat to get it a day early too. FINALLY, they showed Saix! AND OMG NO LEA DON'T DIE!

There was a lot here. I am so hype. I think Xion was the one holding the keyblade up to Lea (the body was very feminine) but the one who was "welcomed back into (o xiii) ranks did not look like it was as feminine of a body... my guess is it was Roxas. We already saw Roxas in a cloak, so it would not be too far fetched.

I loved this trailer, and am very glad Riku is the playable character. I would have had a sinking feeling inside if Kairi was the only one confirmed. But Riku has always been one of my favourites. I am soooo hype.

Is it just me, or in the clip where we hear "Find the Hearts joined to yours" Does it sound more like Terra's voice? Maybe I'm imagining it but that's what it sounds like to me.

I'm really happy about Riku being the second playable character (I don't care if we can play as him in other games, I love him so much and I always want to play as him).
Plus, I really don't give a crap about Kairi being playable or not: I mean, she was never that important in the series.

I think I might write a thread about how toxic and negative people can be anticipating these trailers. I keep seeing people commenting on why they aren't seeing instead of what's actually being shown, and it's a bit strange. Maybe toxic is a bit too strong of a word, but y'all need to focus on what we've been shown instead of what some random Reddit or 4chan conspiracy theory said would be cool to add in the game. Once I took my mind off of that negative view of the game that was poisoning my threads so much back in the day is when I really began to rekindle my love for this series, and y'all need to see the positive side of things more! You can still have nitpicks and actual problems with the game, but stop making up stories about how you were expecting more Disney worlds because kingdom hearts x princess and the frog 5ever and just focus on what was actually said and what we're actually seeing here.

Also, I can't emphasize this enough: there's already SO many threads about the more Disney worlds thing. Just use those to discuss that problem for you! We don't need to flood so many of these threads with empty wishes of Disney movies when the trailers or media the threads are focused on have nothing to do with that topic!

Also, if you're not satisfied with that new world that was shown today... I don't know what'll excite you about III. I literally have never seen a better world concept in one of these games since hollow Bastion in the original.

So this trailer leaves me confused about something. That new world appears to have the same architecture as the ruins we see in the keyblade graveyard that Xehanort seemed to have lifted from beneath the ground. So this implies they are one and the same but that raises the question of what exactly happened in this world. Like another oddity is how this used to be the keyblader seat of power even though we were lead to believe Daybreak Town was, and that isn't Daybreak Town. On top of this the world was already ruined by the time of KHX because when the wielders go to fight their war there it's already a long since empty wasteland.

So I'm starting to think Nomura might have pulled a major misdirection on us on what KHX story has been this whole time. It's the story of the keyblade war alright, the war Kairi's grandma's story talks about it. But it's NOT the story of the war that the X-blade was shattered in, there really has been two wars all along that took place in the same place and that's how Nomura misdirected us. Xehanort said the war for the X-blade took place in the graveyard and that's true, it's just not the one we saw in chi. Which explains why the war in Chi had seemingly literally nothing to do with the X-blade, it never appears, it never is mentioned, and they were fighting instead over bits of light called Lux and were going to use that to summon Kingdom Hearts.

In the ancient past further back than is remembered that grand city, the station of keyblade wielders, existed. The people there lived in the light, became greedy for it, and engaged in a war for the X-blade. In the end their war destroyed this world and left it a wasteland, but not a keyblade graveyard. Fast Forward possibly hundreds of years KHX happens and the MoM manipulated his students into causing another war for one reason or another. This time the war's consequences were much more dire, Kingdom Hearts was sucked into the darkness and the world was shattered/disconnected. The keyblades from that war remained where their wielders fell and thus the wasteland became known as the keyblade graveyard.

The two wars in the same place and the distortion of stories being carried down through the ages ultimately merged the tales into a singular one, that's the real secret. That the war in KH3 is actually the third keyblade war, the one in Chi is the second, and the first one has almost no leftover records of it and we never saw. Xehanort's goal this whole time has been to remake the original war as close as possible. He'll recreate the X-blade and from the looks of it he already restore the keyblade graveyard to its former glory. Albeit seems like a creepy ghost town devoid of any wielders.

Or not just a theory.

So I missed all the reaction bits lol. I did love this trailer, though it scares me to think I was just incredibly spoiled on plot elements. And I think it may scare me more that I wasn't hahah.

Those boss designs were rad for the Heartless/Unversed. A lot of those did look final boss-y. Including Davy Jones.

I assume the Ratatouille Keyblade is gotten through the mini-game but I wonder what you have to accomplish to get it? There must be other rewards as well then, other than the food and its hinted at bonuses I guess? Unless you just get that Keyblade the beginning of the game for meeting Remy.

I had started to make peace with at already so I am not surprised at no Disney announcement. I won't say it long cuz I know there is the worlds thread to discuss it in length, I just think they chose a weird way to announce these "last" 2 worlds. With one being announced actually years ago and the other is just a mini-game world we have had in a ton of games. But I guess its not my call what is good marketing.
That being said the world we did finally get revealed was rad. I hope its as good a "climax" world as OG Hollow Bastion. I don't know if i expect it to be the actual final world though. I still see like 1 more.

I gotta say, I loved the trailer, and Kingdom Hearts 3 is turning out to be exactly what I wanted it to be. Which is, another KH game. I'd have been ok with it only having 1 freaking Disney world so long as the characters I have come to care about are on screen.

On the matter of the Ansem the Wise/Ansem SoD scene, I got a bit of a chill at the mention of children. Dandelions being experimented on, perhaps?

And lastly, I've gotta rant about something. While it is ok to have negative opinions on it, and not like it because it seems "cliche"... Ugh. "Cliche" is cliche at this point. Everything that will ever be written will always have something that has happened before. In my experience there is nothing you can come up with that can't be pointed towards something that hasn't already, at least in part, been done before. Mediocrity is the spice of life, most of us don't care if something isn't Shakespearean in prose or entirely 100% original because our own daily lives are mediocre, boring, repetitive. A million people have lived the exact same life as you. Shakespeare is dead. Wanting everything to be so well written, so anti-cliche and "brand-spanking new" and clean just seems like a complete waste of time to me. It really honestly does. Some of my favorite things ever are full of cliches and things that have been done hundreds of times before. It makes me think you are like those middle-century aristocrats looking on a play going "hmm, haaa". That has died. The common is the norm now. I don't listen to reviews or commentaries on anything, because I know it doesn't even matter.

I kinda hope KH3 is even more cliche-y just in spite now. Sora/Kairi Disney romantic kiss scene? Good guy defeats the bad guy? Noble sacrifices? Bring as many of them on at this point because I can still enjoy it no matter what. :)

Sorry for the rant, I've just... Really gotten sick of the word cliche at this point.

Actually, now that I think about it. Someone probably got Ansem out of there, and I'm preeetty sure that person (be it Riku or Sora) also got Aqua out of there, at least anything else wouldn't really make sense?

So I'm guessing the scene with Ansem and Ansem takes place right before Hayner shows up. After their big conversation, Ansem lets Ansem walk by and watches on which is why his back is turned away, ready for Hayner to leap in.

It'd be pretty hilarious if Ansem, SoD really is distracted and gets kicked by Hayner.

Read an interesting theory on Reddit that the hooded member Saix is talking down to may be Vexen.

Anyone else stoked about seeing the characters actually using their abilities to the fullest more in cutscenes, like Saix going into Berserk Mode and Luxord trapping Mickey in his cards? It reassures me that we’ll actually get some epic action scenes for characters even if they aren’t playable or party members.

I think people, especially on this forum, are misunderstanding the people who are complaining about the lack of Disney worlds (at least the majority - myself included).

I have no problem with there being only 7 Disney Worlds (+ Pooh) but the truth is Nomura stated we would know when all the Disney worlds had been revealed and yet he hasn't kept his word by releasing a statement at anytime to say there are no more Disney worlds.

Before people attack me, understand what I'm saying first. We haven't had a new Disney World (proper) since June at Sony's E3 Conference. That means for the last SIX MONTHS people have been hyping that there is another DW since Nomura hasn't said "that's it" like he promised.

If there truly are no more DW's I think this controversy has hurt the game, the majority of the community and Nomura's reputation.

Quite simply, if you released a statement saying "no more DWs", people would have months to appreciate this, look at the worlds we have and be content. Nomura and Square did not do that - which only means that there are a large group of people who feel disappointed by the final game because the developers did not keep their words on clarity.

I hope we can all appreciate this point now and STOP patronising people like myself for trying to air our frustrations on a forum dedicated to such feelings about a game.

So on the last part of the trailer with MX and Sora. I counted the figures with armor and there's 12 floating in the air. With MX making 13. So does that mean xehanort is a puppet under someone else all this time along with the others that are floating in the air?

Holy shit that was a good trailer. They better not killing off Ventus though, I'll be pissed. But everyone basically died (aside from Yen Side I guess), and I don't want some cheesy Deus Ex Machina revival either. That wouldn't do this series any judgement in my opinion. Ugh, I'm so conflicted.

Also the new Org Suits look kinda weird and over the top.

I can totally see Vexen being the Mysterious Figure though. Mainly because Demyx also appears to be back in the Organization, and after seeing his interaciton with Vexen in the last trailer I kinda think they're best buds now. I really like it, they shouldn't be apart. But yeah, those other points make sense too.

I'll reqoute myself on a previous thread: "Nomura said that all disney worlds would be revealed before kh3 comes out". Most of speculate that that means before 2018 ends (at this point). But like someone else mentioned, we still have less than two months. We can easily get the final world(s) revealed (more than likely jump festa), or we can appreciate what we have so far if all disney worlds have been revealed. I just think the back and forthness of world's count is getting obnoxious on both ends of the spectrum.

This trailer too, felt obvious to me as well, except for the ending scene with what appears to have been cable town originally... that was a bit random, but knew it had to show up sometime. I'm not sure Nomura realizes how much of an impact the Aqua trailer had on people, lol, as he said the other trailers will be more surprising...and I have yet to see anything more surprising then Aqua. Knew Xion would have to come back with all the hints, knew this game would be the darkest one and Sora would be torn up inside. HMK hypothesized about Riku possibly sacrificing himself for Sora since his character arc is near complete, and this would be a good way to end it... and this trailer with Sora screaming feels like it's towards Riku dying...what else besides Kairi dying would make Sora scream in pure agony?

Uh, you guys got all this from the trailer? I mean, yeah, it shows the heroes struggling, possibly even at their lowest points. Were we expecting them not to struggle? Either way y'all are talking like you know exactly how things are going to unfold, where I just see a bunch of scenes thrown together without context. I don't know how you get what you folks seem to be getting from the trailer, and I certainly hope no one here would allude to any information from the leaks.

Something about what YX whispers to Sora during this trailer makes me think about Xigbar and Ansem's talk in one of the previous trailers about a traitor...
