I'm Tetsuya Nomura's son and I can confirm that he will create a Final Mix calendar and it will have six months instead of the usual 12. It also comes with a bunch of collectibles that I won't mention:

[*]July will have new artwork for Fragmented Keys
[*]August is going to have artwork for the oldest KH fangame project in the world: Inverted Hearts.
[*]September uses the KH3 Final Mix boxart (Yes, this is a thing, even though the game hasn't come out yet as of now.)
[*]October reuses the original boxart of Kingdom Hearts 1
[*]For some reason, November's artwork is Riku unbuckling Sora's belt while Kairi watches with glee. I don't know why my dad made this.
[*]December is really ominous. It's just the Kingdom Hearts logo, but there's some text saying "Reconnect. Kingdom Hearts" There's no dates, company logos or websites.

To be fair, a lot of anniversary events at D23 have to be pushed really hard by organizers and staff to get approved by Disney. The Goofy Movie panel two years ago was implied to have happened because of some really good luck.

The images on Amazon changed for the pages. It doesn't look like full Key Art pics anymore but only single characters. What gives?

Yeah if they changed the pages to be those single character designs instead of the key arts, that sucks. Those images on Amazon look pretty bland. I'd much rather have the older preview images they showed before.

It's not a knock off but someone messed up the original product images. The non Amazon link still has old one. I got it today while not as nice as Key Arts it's still fantastic.

It's different and only has characters. Also don't be a dick about it. An opinion can't be wrong. I think Walking Dead is a shit show for example. OUAT is my all time favorite.

It's the same. I'm assuming they were using Nomura's art against his permission so they had to switch to the renders at the last minute.
I'm bummed out as well. I'll probably get the Golden Girl's calendar instead. :c
I'll avoid it. Rumours state that it's not even a calendar that lasts a year, instead only having 358.
I have this calendar, it is a 16 month calendar but there's a catch. The pictures are so basic and a smidgen ugly :( maybe it's just not my type of calendar, but it looks quite plain mostly due to the backgrounds. I hope next year's calendar will feature more, like perhaps feature some of the worlds.
In comparison, I also got Thomas Kinkade's Disney calendar and that is gorgeous. Really fill every space of the image space in a beautiful way. I know it's different but would love for a KH one someway similar to it.
