The official Kingdom Hearts 3 website and the North American Press Site has updated with brand new renders of Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald, Goofy, Mickey, Maleficent, Pete and all of the characters from Arendelle, Toy Box, Monstropolis, and the Caribbean.

Oh Man, I love the New renders for Sora, Donald, Goofy, Kairi and for the first time, Full Renders of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Anna, Elsa, Olaf, the Pirates cast along with Maleficent and Pete.
Dunno about you but I think Anna and Olaf look a lot better in these renders when compared to their appearances in the trailers, hopefully, they change their appearance before the game come out along with Sulley.
Also, like the new name for the Pirates of the Caribbean world, The Caribbean, knowing how Massive the Caribbean and it's seas from the Pirates films are.
Cool to see that both the Monster's Inc. and the Frozen world's names are named after their locations from the film.

It’s cool to finally see new weapons for Donald and Goofy. I was afraid we’d have to wait till the actual game released to see them lol

Having these screenshots all in one spot really shows just how much each world LOOKS like their film. It's going to feel like each world is its own film and I think that is what will take this game to the next level.

The most amazing thing about the graphics thus far is that each world feels true to that world/movie and yet somehow Sora, Donald, and Goofy as animations fit in each world -- from Pirates all the way to Frozen. It's really one helluva feat

From what I could tell, the outfit was green.
I think it has blue pants in another shot I found, so it must be magic which I was certainly thinking it would be lol.

Admittedly it's hard to tell on ANY quality of video, even on my good TV, but based on the shots I could find the coat seems to be gray (or possibly pale gray-green but the clearest shot I could find looks straight up gray) and the pants definitely have some blue flame pattern at the leg cuffs. The shoes and gloves are pure gray and black, as the coat seems to be.
However! Unless the Magic Form has changed SIGNIFICANTLY in the last 2-3 months, this outfit does NOT match. As was seen both in the Double Arrowguns/Magic Launcher Twilight Town teaser AND in the Mirage Staff gameplay (Both in D23 trailer AND the Toybox Demo), Magic Form is almost the exact opposite of this outfit. Sora's coat, gloves, and shoes all change to mostly blue and the pants get a design of gray and white stars.
I posit that this may be one of the Keyblades Nomura mentioned having a "unique form", and this is supported by the fact that Sora's shoes actually transform into some form of double-buckled boot inside the ice skis.
EDIT: Check screenshots #7 and #8, I believe, of the OP of this thread. It can be clearly seen that the shoes, jacket, and gloves are all solid light gray. Also interesting is there is almost a Celtic Knot style embroidery on the sleeves of the jacket and a matching chain-like symbol on the cuffs of the armblades You can also see the design on the pants aren't flames like I thought from the YouTube quality trailer, but tendrils of ice.

Nice renders. I like Donald and Goofy's pirate costumes, Sora's is a bit much for me but he does look handsome in a pirate hat. That Keyblade is almost ideal, but the mast is really extra and I wish they had left it off and accented that section with another skull emblem or something. Loving Goofy's shield, though, the crashing wave design is enchanting and adds a welcome bit of color to the aesthetic.
Agree with Tartarus that Maleficent is looking good.
And of course Kairi is the queen tonight. They could have gone a little subtler with the dress imo but they managed to tow the line between feminine and princess-y so it's all good.

It's funny how everyone was worried that Kairi's KH3 outfit would be too long! But Kairi's render is really nice nonetheless; I really love her new look.

It's funny how everyone was worried that Kairi's KH3 outfit would be too long! But Kairi's render is really nice nonetheless; I really love her new look.
It's the perfect length imo, although I kind of wish they had given her some cute leggings just to build on the look a bit more. Her boots need some pink accents, too. I really love the top portion the most, the button placement is excellent.

Yeah, it’s odd. The Lea and Kairi scene is CG from Visual Works but they gave out Kairi’s render so *shrugs*

She calls him Axel and he mentions she cut her hair so this must be the very first scene we see of them in the game. And since it’s visual works, I assume it’s from the opening cut scene of the game. I assume she calls him axel because he still hasn’t made it clear to her who he is. This gives me hope he loses the robe when they finish training in dramatic symbolic fashion.

I think I’ve fallen in love with the logos. These world logos, to me, are some of the things that make kingdom hearts, well, Kingdom hearts! I hope all kingdom hears games continue having logos for each and every world. I do have a slight issue with toy box however. It would have been better as just Galaxy Toys. Or if it had followed the “of†series of worlds like “castle OF dreams†and “Country OF the musketeersâ€, I would have personally chosen “Town of Enchanted toysâ€.

According to Kairi's letter to Sora from one of the previous concerts, Lea/Axel is very apologetic towards her due to how he mistreated her in KH 2, so I guess he'd not dare to correct her.
And yes, his "Fine, whatever" comment at the end of DDD indicates he doesn't care anymore.
Unlike Roxas and Naminé, Axel is not a special case where the Nobody developed into an entirely separate existence as he had all of Lea's memories.

This is the first time I've ever thought Kairi looked princess-like. She never fit in with the Disney princesses in KH1 and definitely not in KH2. It's not just the change in her clothes/hair, but something about her mannerisms in the trailer, too. She reminded me of Ginnifer Goodwin, the animated girl version.
I'll be flabbergasted if they miraculously make me like Kairi in this game.

I don’t know Tartarus. To me, I find that the monstropolis logo would have looked nicer without the doors at the bottom. But yeah the arendelle logo is my personal favourite as well! Now all I want to see is Kingdom of corona and san fransokyo’s logos. Speaking of which, I really wonder why they couldn’t just name rapunzel’s world simply “Corona†like arendelle

I like them too, but the doors made me think of Christmas ornaments. It's a great design regardless.

Afraid is the wrong word I'd assume as is being worried, I'd take it more as a sign of humility on Lea's part, but that's of course all only assumption.
Him simply not caring anymore since the end of DDD is a much easier and simply explanation. Not to mention that when Xion and Roxas will really be back as their own individuals sometime during the game they will automatically call him Axel anyways.
Indeed, it is also a hairstyle that's still somewhat feminine while not being so overly girly it would be a hindrance in a battle situation. Shorter hair cannot be grabbed and tucked on by an adversary that easily and it could be a sign of Kairi's new resolve to kick some nort butt as well this time around.
In FF IX Princess Garnet/Dagger also cut her hair into a similar style Kairi has now when she overcame her depression and sadness, deciding to fight alongside Zidane and the others to finally end the threat responsible for all their misfortune.

Similarly Pete appears to be in Olympus. Not too sure about Maleficent but it also seems to be one of the indoor maps of Olympus vis-a-vis the flaming torches in the background.
EDIT: Also doesn't Luxu have that very distinctive zipper? Which I can't seem to find in this render, or my eyesight is terrible. MOREOVER...Luxu's voice actor was at the Comic Con in Dubai this year and he told me he hasn't been asked for KH3...I'm going to stop parading around about that now...

While her in-game model has differences for some reason, her section in the trailer is CG. Maybe they just didn’t make it 100% uniform or the spikes at the front are a lot softer looking in the CG.

BTW I dig the curvey spikes for Lea; looks a lot cooler and lively.

Yeah. You can tell by how soft the characters look compared to other characters who have some issues like jaggies or dithering in their hair. I compared Braig’s and Lea’s shoulders and they were different; Braig has little jaggies while Lea is rounded. Plus the lighting in the scene working with the models is higher than anything else in the game, and their skin is reacting differently to, say, Riku on Destiny Islands (another sunset scene).

Okay then they're using in-game models with some enhancements, they're not actual CG like the openings which look way better than that. Pre-render, I say.

To be honest, you can still easily tell the difference between Visual Works and the Kingdom Shader through the lighting and textures.

Speaking of which, somebody needs to ask Nomura if the Kingdom Shader still exists. I don't think he's directly mentioned it for a while now and people are saying it was scrapped after the engine switch but it kind of feels unceremonial, we need an official RIP for the beauty that could have been.

KHIII is previewed once again in PlayStation magazine and there was a screenshot in there that I thought was new so I checked the E3 folder to see if I had forgotten it or if it were actually new (it was old), but I got thinking about this screen:
Everyone has pointed out The Caribbean is a late stage world because of the health bar on the boss, and no doubt this has been pointed out before but I'm dumb and forgetful, but there are SEVENTEEN total health bar nodes there. That is three more health bar nodes than what Sephiroth had in Kingdom Hearts 2 and one more health bar node than the Lingering Will.
This Heartless boss has more health than the two superbosses from Kingdom Hearts 2 and I'm beside myself with joy.

If that world is late game, I think most said it's stage 3 of the worlds

Yeah and I believe BH6 is late stage as well. Which means the third world of the last stage may have a similar large scale to both of those films.

I was actually thinking this too. It might make speculating the last world a bit easier now by looking at potential large scale films.

The amount of health bars on that thing has me both excited and terrified.
Also I just now noticed Minute Bombs Heartless are stored in its cannons. That's neat.

If Princess and the Frog or another Disney Princess world appears, I think it would be in the second pod with Tangled and Arendelle. (I’m guessing most of think Arendelle is mid-game?)

Man since this is only the mid boss of the Caribbean imagine the health bars and challenge of Davy Jones as a boss. Especially if he is backed up by the Kraken.

That's what I thought. There didn't seem to be that much health to any of the heartless shown in Arendelle.

I was thinking that maybe what the last stage worlds might have in common, besides being large scale films, is that they'll also generally have more potential gameplay options. It seems fitting for the last stage worlds to be an accumulation of multiple gameplay options in one world, similar to the Caribbean.

I’ve also been paying attention to what forms we have where in the game. Speed Form and Guardian Form are the two we’ve seen the least of. Since Pirates is Power, we’ll either get Guardian, Speed, or Magic Form Keyblades from the other two worlds in the pod. As said in the other thread, I think San Fransokyo will give us Guardian. Which leaves Magic or Speed. Wreck It Ralph would obviously be Speed, but like you said, would it be an end game world? Maybe it would be like Tron where it’s within an original world and serves as one last distraction from the main plot? Otherwise, I could see Wonderland or Bewitching Bayou having a Magic Form. Just not sure they’d have the gameplay variety to measure up with Pirates and BH6.

I think Sugar Rush would be midgame along with Corona and Arendelle. If only because I don't think they would wait tilll late in the game to give us Ralph as a summon. We might visit Sugar Rush after completing the former two worlds.
I think Atlantis could be a late stage world since that film has a large scale like Pirates and BH6.

When Sora gets up close, you can see that they are just cannons inside. In fact, during the scene you took a screenshot from, you can see the cannons get fired but they just end up being tiny little bullets.
Would have been a cool way to bring back the Minute Bomb Heartless though.

You know I actually didn't think of the Bistro Restaurant that Remy owns the first time I thought of places for the Wreck-it Ralph world within Twilight Town. But this is an awesome Idea, Alpha.
No doubt that Nomura and his team might use some of the Video games stalls in Select Japanese restaurants for inspiration of the interior in the Twilight Town Bistro restaurant.
Even though the Images aren't Japanese based restaurants and don't have a stall, they are some restaurants (notably Pizza restaurants and bars that house Video game cabinets).
In Regards to the Turbo plot implemented in the Twilight Town Bistro restaurant resulting in ONLY having 3 arcade games (Fix-It Felix Jr., Hero's Duty, Sugar Rush), it makes sense cause in the film, Turbo always wants to crave the attention of players that played his game, TurboTime. His jealousy rose whenever another game (either a racing game like Roadblasters or one that has better graphics than TurboTime, mostly its the former) is plugged in which resulted in him hijacking that game causing it to glitch which resulted in having his game and the other to be unplugged. That event led to the term "Going Turbo".
Having the Twilight Town Gang mention it to SDG would be a nice little nod to the film, when Felix told Turbo's story to Sergeant Calhoun, but that's just me.

O_O I didn't think of that either and I think you guys already know my brother is a arcade nerd! If they want more than 3 there tho, hey there Taito. Wouldn't mind seeing a few of those there too, or maybe even a cab with a Dissidia demo-reel. ^^ I don't think they'd want to put Dissidia in full in the game, but a demo reel..easy.

Rearding that giant bird Heartless in the Caribbean, particularly its HP bar; if it's got that many nodes as a story boss, then I think some of the later game enemies should have at least five or seven extra nodes.
(Also, can't wait for the later bosses to start going into yellow HP nodes ala KH1.)

The most obvious means in which Sora, Donald and Goofy can enter into the game is if a bright light sucks them into the cabinet, and then they crash near Sargent Calhoun and Fix-It Felix in their Yozora, Magia and Aegis vidoe game attire. From thereon out, they can travel with the both of them. Felix then tells the Turbo tale to Calhoun, Sora, Donald and Goofy and we follow the Wreck-It Ralph plot form Felix's perspective.

Placing Space Invaders and Bubble Bobble where the hypothetical Sugar Rush cabinet would be is free advertising for Square Enix (as Taito nowadays is Square Enix's arcade brand), it'd a smart integration of the whole retro theme of Wreck-It Ralph. It'd be a cool reward for completing the hypothetical Wreck-it Ralph world, to have some arcade cabinets restored.
Come to think of it, you could use a Taito game to slightly retcon a Wreck-It Ralph plotline.

This Taito game is called Night Striker. Seeing as Turboblasters is an Atari game, there's no way the license for that is going to be used, so instead, why not substitute this game as the game that Turbo escaped into? It's owned by Taito so the licensing is not an issue, and it can still naturally integrate into Turbo's origin story.

Given that we're fighting that flying heartless with a series of non-traditional tactics, it's probably no big deal at all that it has lots of HP. I'm sure that hanging off of it's spine and hitting it will cut through those bars like a hot knife through butter.
Really, the health bars in KH games have never mattered, they're purely cosmetic. KH1 had a maximum of six health bars for a boss, and while the health bars have gotten much longer, the battles have not.

Not wanting to be pessimistic, but if we already have a system of playing through the phone (or whatever this thing is), you guys really think there is a good chance to arcades appear in the game?

IMO, I think Twilight Town is the best ideal location for the Wreck-It Ralph world.
