New HD Re:Chain of Memories Screenshots From GameWatch!

The clock is quickly winding down until KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX releases in Japan, so it's only natural that we receive another massive image update from the media! Today, we have a total of 43 screenshots being shown off by both Gamewatch and 4Gamer. Many of these were included in the Famitsu update we made 3 days ago, but they are now available more vibrant and without a watermark!

So, just gunna repeat myself, because I'm very curious. Is this whole Riku can do a more than 3-card-combo sleight a new implementation? Or...
It's Riku's most powerful Duel sleight called "Dark Barrage".
When the prompt comes up in battle, you have to break all of the opponent's cards to initiate a very powerful attack, which varies depending on the number of cards broken.
Duel mode was added in Re:CoM to make up for the fact that all Riku's decks are premade, to balance it a bit.

Wow this looks pretty cool, the graphic really looks amazing. Even tough I don't really care for the card system I think I'll enjoy this game just for how great it looks, also because I'd finally get to play the 3D version of it.
Genie sure has a creepy grin going on.

I never thought he inspired the facial design. It seems so different!
edit: wow, there's even more improvements than I thought! I wouldn't notice differences in effects the way some do.

You often notice little touches in characters inspired by their voice actors. Or at least I do. I'm pretty sure it's to really make the personality present in their voices stand out by copying some of their facial features and the way their faces move when they talk.
Of course I could be completely wrong on this, in which case disregard everything I've said. :\
Those do exist, I notice them too. but sometimes it's just they way they're animated.
Even the coliseum is looking better than ever, though it could just be me.

and this is the same in the screenshots for Days and KHFM
why don't they all have nice ears
i think this bothers me more than fish faces
fish faces are because they don't want to spend the time animating the eyes
but this is just bad models

For Nami, I think they were trying to make it look like her hair was covering the top part of her ear. But the bottom part being cut off is weird.

Out of curiosity, are these screenshots touched up? Like you know how before DDD came out there were all these screenshots that were smoothed out and weren't a perfect replica of what would be in game? Of course it still looks great, but I'm just curious if what we see in the screenshots are in-game images...I doubt it, it's too gorgeous O___O

Well, to be fair, in-game DDD was at max 480i or 480p or whatever that is I think. The PS3 will at least be at 720-whatever.

This is true ^_^ Gives me more hope that 1.5HD will actually look like those screenshots...UGH! Can't even imagine how nice that will look in motion!!!!
I dont even think DDD was 480p(it always seems to be progressive), given the screen size and the XL's reception regarding resolution, it's probably between PSP and 480.
