The clock is quickly winding down until KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX releases in Japan, so it's only natural that we receive another massive image update from the media! Today, we have a total of 43 screenshots being shown off by both Gamewatch and 4Gamer. Many of these were included in the Famitsu update we made 3 days ago, but they are now available more vibrant and without a watermark!

So, just gunna repeat myself, because I'm very curious. Is this whole Riku can do a more than 3-card-combo sleight a new implementation? Or...

It's Riku's most powerful Duel sleight called "Dark Barrage".

When the prompt comes up in battle, you have to break all of the opponent's cards to initiate a very powerful attack, which varies depending on the number of cards broken.

Duel mode was added in Re:CoM to make up for the fact that all Riku's decks are premade, to balance it a bit.

Wow this looks pretty cool, the graphic really looks amazing. Even tough I don't really care for the card system I think I'll enjoy this game just for how great it looks, also because I'd finally get to play the 3D version of it.

Genie sure has a creepy grin going on.

I never thought he inspired the facial design. It seems so different!


edit: wow, there's even more improvements than I thought! I wouldn't notice differences in effects the way some do.

You often notice little touches in characters inspired by their voice actors. Or at least I do. I'm pretty sure it's to really make the personality present in their voices stand out by copying some of their facial features and the way their faces move when they talk.

Of course I could be completely wrong on this, in which case disregard everything I've said. :\

Those do exist, I notice them too. but sometimes it's just they way they're animated.

Even the coliseum is looking better than ever, though it could just be me.
