Will grab my copy of HD Xion since it's mercy, copy medals are always useful and I don't know when the existing copy medals will make their return. By the way, am I the only one who finds it strange that certain medals are time-limited? I get it for WoFF medals and Tsum Tsums, those are kind of special occasion medals and Sena doesn't want us to pull an EX out a random pull by chance, but I don't see the deal with the copy medals. You were given one per pull back then anyway, so they are not thaaat rare. But anyway xD

i have roughly 20000 atm and i may get this avatar board, max lux is something i need, but then there are also the gem boards, lol i feel like there is to much going on and not enough jewels,
just gonna ignore it all my keyblades are high enough to do things i dont need a copycat medal cause they dont strike me as needed. and i may get ansem for 2500

Kiiinda want to get Xion for my Darkgnaw setup but I don't know if I can even save up enough in 10 days so we'll see. There are other medals I want too, like the KA copy reprint so hmm. When are we getting that 3k jewels? How about now. Now sounds good.

Pulled HD Xion on my second pull. Pulled a third time because I have no self control. (Also the third pull on the last banner was when I got Sephiroth EX) but decided I will stop there, even though I'd love to have HD Xion guilted without using Mickey and Brooms. Unless she is really necessary, I'll just wait it out until I get some more in later pulls.
At this point getting Key Art "Bonds" is more important for me, because it can give me a triple Sephiroth EX on Fairy Stars.

Did five pulls. All pulls had power medals, except of one useless 0.2 Kairi pull. Either the game is flooded with power medals or they all simply land in my pulls. *sigh* I can't exactly complain because I could guilt my 0.2 Riku (with another shitty trait, yeah!) but my magic medals are really lackluster and I would've appreciated another Key Art 7 or 0.2 Aqua. Q-Q I have more high tier power medals now than my power deck can even hold xD

My eyes were almost as big seeing that 15K jewel gift as they were when I got my boosted Sephiroth EX. That says a lot, doesn't it? Lol.
So I pulled a few more times and got HD Xion again. No Roxas EX, which is sad... But I can't complain when I already have a boosted Sephiroth EX.

Wow...I think an invasion of the body snatchers has occurred, and someone has replaced our old SENA with a replica! Hahaha. Thank you, SENA, for the generous gift. Jewels are so scarce in Global and so needed.
Aaaaand...I had a little over 15,000 jewels for the 5 pull mercy HD Xion (before we got the extra jewels gift), not really even thinking about the Roxas EX, when lo and behold, I got a 3 orbed Roxas EX on my third pull!! OMG. Could have knocked me over with a feather. I had tried a few pulls for the other EX medals, never getting lucky, and now I have my first EX medal!! I am sooo excited. Decided to use 3 M&Bs on him to guilt him instead of the HD Xion, which I got on the fifth pull.
So yeah SENA, you've made me a very happy girl! I suspect maybe they upped the chances of getting Roxas EX? Maybe? Please keep up the amazing, new relationship with our community, SENA.

Wow. They are usually so stingy..
Anyway I got a couple costumes I was missing (I need power, speed, and phys gems bad) and I'll have to think about pulling if that medal's any good. But I might hold off since yeah, I'm somewhere between free to play and cheap to play. ^^ I'd been grinding gems in Cross as well as Proud Mode lately. Just got Counterpoint to useable, for instance.
I hope they keep listening to the community and yeah..make it easier to get free gems. ^^

My husband was so concerned cause I flipped out. xD And then I was like "totally worth it" and wasted the rest of my jewels to get HD Xion cause I have no good medals with a similar ability to hers.

The balance of the game is going to drastically shift now. If you don't have a tier 6 EX medal, you're going to be left behind.
This is what is so scary about giving a gift like this and also raising the pull rates. There are people who will pull and not get him, while there will be many more than before who get him.
Also, watch SmellyOctopus's newest video. New players get 20,000 jewels right off the bat thanks to this 15,000 jewel gift, so anyone can restart until they get Roxas EX.

Yeah, no. You won't just get left behind only because you don't have a Tier 6 EX medal yet. Sure, they're quite powerful and this is could be a major power creep, but I think I'll be just fine.

But with the 15K gift, people are now able to restart their accounts over and over again easily until they pull Roxas EX.

I mean, yeah, but I don’t think that many people are willing to abandon the rest of their medals (I couldn’t for the life of me imagine abandoning KDG, KA9 and KH2 Sora EX. If I didn’t have those medals, ngl, I would’ve restarted so many times as well.

F2P doesn't necessarily mean you don't want to compete. The prices in this game are so high that someone might still want to play but don't feel like they can pay. Also, some people can't pay for various reasons.
Anyway, two people have pulled Roxas EX in my party and it is taking everything for me to not waste my last 9K jewels on this banner. It is taking everything. Of course, if I knew I would get him I would gladly throw those 9K jewels. I realize now that he would be an asset for Fairy Stars. HD Namine in third slot, Sephiroth EX in fourth slot, and him in the last.
Of course the usual setup is Key Art Bonds in the last slot, but I don't have Key Art Bonds. Getting Roxas EX would have solved all of my problems. T.T
My jewels are being saved primarily for a reprint banner of Key Arts. Gosh darn it, I wish I could have pulled him in my seven pulls like everyone else.

These medals are major damage dealers.
I would know, Sephiroth EX has turned the game upside down for me.
It is very easy to get stuck in a pattern of saving up for utility medals like 0.2 Kairi and never getting actual good damage dealers. This is how my game was. I was still using tier 3s. I was getting left behind big time.

Actually, I don't think you are going to get left behind without an EX. Yes, an EX is powerful. For sure. But there are other powerful medals and there will be more coming (like the foretellers), also it depends on what you want to do. For HSC, yes, but it has always been like this. For coliseum - as long as you rank somewhere between 2500 and 10.000, you're still getting a decent reward. Anything above that rank cannot be achieved by just one medal, I guess, because it needs air and ground def. For events - HD Xion can at least borrow other people's EX. Story is a breeze if you have anything decent guilted. Plus, the EX medals will come back someday and you can try your luck again.
And who would throw his hard-worked account down the drain to start over? Yeah, maybe a few newbies will restart until they get one. Maybe, even if I don't believe in that too much. Then they will have one EX and are still at the very beginning, so either they just have a good start and will have a looong road to go or they'll drop the game after a few hundred filler quests anyway. I don't think that's a real threat to Sena.
Edit: A Tier 3 with the right trait can be a real blast, too. My Saix B with ATK Boost 3 Max and ground enemy def eats through practically everything.

Lol, I spent all my Jewels on the Tsum Tsum banner. I'd rather have a guarantee medal than draw with only 1/5 draws being either HD Xion or Roxas. My luck on EX Banners is always atrocious so I ain't even jealous, I have a fully guilted Pooh & Friends and Mickey & Friends Tsum Tsum. They're amazing for proud mode quests.

Really enjoying the fact that SENA just plopped 15k Jewels onto us. Was rather worried I wouldn't have enough for FFXion's mercy. Now I almost have enough for the Mercy 2x. Current plan is I'll pull until I get 2 FFXion, that way I can Guilt without using FMBs and possibly get a good trait. The moment that happens I stop pulling and all the rest leftover are being saved for Marluxia EX. If I get Xion EX that'll be awesome, but not the end goal because MARLUXIA. We'll see how it goes when Xion EX's banner pops up.

I agree with what some others have said, Roxas EX is a really good solid medal, but it's not worth resetting your whole game. Having top tier medals makes many things easier, but with some patience and help from others, tutorials and all that, most things are possible to do even with just an okay set of medals. If you're worried about missing gamechangers though, starting to save for the foreteller medals right now would be a good idea. Grabbing one of those especially if you have copy medals will be a big deal.
I'm really happy with the 15k, I would have done the mercy pull anyway because Xion is perfect for my Darkgnaw. I didn't get anything good at all, but at least I'm not back to 0 jewels and can start saving again with a good amount still left. It's nice that they raised the drop rate though, a lot of people got Roxas. Well, at least I can copy a shared one with my Xion xD

Saix B is quite a powerhouse, but he is also quite an exception. Even still, I don't think he could come anywhere near close to winning you the third broom in that set of quests from a month or so ago. I'm going to say I doubt any tier 3s could. I don't think he could have taken care of the enemies in that last Zexion B quest.
Even in Story Mode you can feel left behind. That recent queen and cats boss was impossible to two turn with my tier 3 setup. I barely was even able to beat it... I think I had to use HD Namine to beat it at all.

Well I have yet to get Roxas EX but I've only done 2 pulls.
I got Sephiroth EX on my 7th pull for his banner.
The 15000 jewels is a godsend though.

Seeing as the preview video has pretty much been confirmed to be 100% accurate in time to what we're getting it is coming VERY soon. Monday maybe? I bet it could be found out if we watched the video.
Just looked up what the video said and that video is lining up to be set on this Monday (the Roxas banner says seven days left, whereas it says nine right now. The Tsum Tsum banner follows the same pattern). So the 0.2 Kairi banner will be this Monday.

How long do you guys think we have until the 0.2 Kairi reprint banner? Because (somewhat) like a dumbass, I mercied HD Xion.... (debating whether or not it was worth it right now...)
Not to take alway From Harmonie deduction skill but it should be monday to coincide with the ending of the Namine Banner, tahts how they usualy play these things
Also I ended up Buying the power gem board since ill prob need them to level up my fenrir, though tbh my green setup wipes the flor with everything lol

EDIT: i did it starting a new game nets you 20000 jewles. enough to at least get 0.2 kairi and stuff

Seeing as the preview video has pretty much been confirmed to be 100% accurate in time to what we're getting it is coming VERY soon. Monday maybe? I bet it could be found out if we watched the video.

So three people in my party got Roxas EX, and I’ve been seeing him pulled a lot more than another other EX on YouTube... pulled 9 times so far with nothing to show for it, but I REALLY want this medal.

I've gotten two Roxas EX and a new Xion in about four pulls. I think it must be reimbursement for my terrible rng on previous banners.
