Unbirth sounds like... well, I'm not even gonna say what that sounds like. Too R rated for this thread.

I much prefer unbirths over ambers(although, birthless is far improved then both terms).

No. While I don't like Unbirth, Birthless would literally make me laugh.
I mean, we already have the "-less," Heartless. Another would sound ridiculous.

Anyway, if you say both "amber" and "unbirth," you'd realize that they both sound similar. It all has to do with the Japanese pronunciation of the words.

Well if they don't want it to sound like an R-Rated negative thing I suppose they might actually use Ambers. Which is really freaky. Although Disney has a history with some really freaky stuff, but not so much.
If people bring up abortions in the midst of the releasing of the game, I'll shoot them.
unbirths isn't the official name right... just directly translated by bittermeat ? unbirths sound okay i guess. it goes well along with less and no.
The japanese was something like "anvaats" you wouldnt know how much time bittermeats spent just sitting there with a fit over the word, we took so long to try and figure something out (me and R-K were in chat with bittermeats xP)
I was googling "anvaats" like crazy XDD of course nothing came up

I don't like the name Unbirth much, it's okay I guess, and it does kind of match the title Birth By Sleep.

Fair enough. I can't argue with what the developer said.
But in all honesty, people would've been losing themselves in darkness for all of time before the events of KH even began, the Heartless would've existed in some form.

The name "UnBirths" makes sence with the Birth by Sleep name, but it still seems kinda weird. I mean, how are these creatures created? By unborn hearts?
i'm guessing the unbirths are just plainly souls. they don't have a heart nor a body ?

Im not sure of these in any way at all, ok?
i don't know but it seems reasonable. if you're not borned, you wouldn't have a heart or a body. just simply a soul. reminds me of reincarnation in some way.
