Oh right, Germany. Makes sense you'd be around my time zone.
It sounds nice but I hate that place. The contract made me be trapped there. My bosses are stupid and SO inexperienced x_X;;; managers shouldn't be team leaders; they should be managers.
And I'm from Israel ^^;;; we have a pretty strong hi-tech market here.
Differential equations X.X I'm just grateful that we passed most of the math.
Small surprise though a math course is what ruins my average XD;;; can't complain overall, but it's still noticeably lower than what it could've been.
Ah. I don't think we even have anything as a VET here. You just hand in your resume and they see if you qualify being called a "programmer" or what not. And most universities don't really teach how to program. I know that since I've seen what the fresh students at work know, what they teach in my college, and what I know from work x.x;;;
So grateful the system's different here.
Yeah, I'm quite open about my dislike to hatred of BBS. I know for a fact that it's because my expectations of it were so high (part of why I'm one of those who liked Days - I didn't expect no Organization game. I expected a Xion game and got just that). I expected something a lot more epic, a lot more in-depth, a lot more wide-spread. I remembered so many things from the earlier trailers but, alas. None of that was in-game. Instead we got redundant worlds like Aqua's Dwarf Woodlands visit and Minnie banishing Pete for being a tiny bit mischivous x_X;;;
I disagree about BBS's pacing. It had, roughly, the same pacing - Land of Departure, Radiant Garden area, end of game. It feels a bit better seeing how it's spread over three scenarios so you have three times these plot points, but when you look at the Disney worlds it's even WORSE than KH2 because now you need to visit each world THREE times, and have even less substance.
And let's see even what plot we had TO cram. MX and Terra; Vanitas and Ven; And Aqua- scratch that. Aqua was there for the mandatory pair of breasts. I felt, ironically, Days had a lot more intertwined plot threads, what with what went on with Xigbar, Saix and Axel, Xemnas toying with everyone, at the same time insight about Roxas, Namine and Diz, and Riku going all over the place. BBS had only TAV playing along with Mickey making mandatory visits and Xigbar appearing maybe twice overall. I dare say the plot was better paced because the scenarios were painfully short so the lackluster amount of plot wasn't felt so badly, unlike Days that gave you a plethora of redundant albeit optional missions.
As for the gameplay... it's sad but it's gotten to the point he even retcons gameplay. Ven's Wingblade? Sora and Riku's KH2 Limit. Aqua and Terra's Bladecharge? Riku's technique during the boss fight in Days (part of why I personally think that

Spoiler Show
)
Hell, even Ven's Faith and Salvation, and Roxas's techniques in the FM+ battle.
NOMURA! *shakes fist at*
The biggest problem in KH2 wasn't the cutscenes so much as the redundant, completely unnecessary cutscenes. Why do I need a freaking cutscene showing me there's a door I already know of at the other end of the room?
Also, had the other cutscenes been written better, they might not have needed as many cutscenes.
So ironically, I say again - investing in the story is not a swear word. :\ Especially when rushing it reflects later back on the programming. And iono, if this keeps up? As soon as this saga's over, I'm quitting. Hell, I'm not sure I'll even finish it seeing how I'll need to buy a new console for KH3, most likely.
